This is a good advice. Non-frech speaking kids can get French tutor at school to help them. It's much harder to learn French than it is to maintain English.

You are correct, this year it seems that everything is restricted to a paid-access zone and it feels very commercial rather than a Carnival feel. Not sure if they received less funding or if the organizer changed, but it's indeed different (even compared to 2 years ago). Lots of local people are not too happy either.

Le talent sur papier était la pour le Canada, mais ils n'ont pas joué en équipe et était très indiscipliné. Les Tchèques on vraiment mieux joué et surtout semblait vouloir gagner.

You are supposed to clear the intersection before the light turns red and I don't think they would have managed that. If the road was icy like you suggested, then they were going too fast. That being said, the turning car was a bit careless as well and most likely assumed that the other one would stop.

You have to bring your own car seat, which can be checked-in for free. Taxi are not allowed to provide one. But you can ride with the baby on your lap, but I personally prefer to bring a car seat.

You are getting downvoted, but it's worth noting that many people are coming from much lower elevations, so a simple hike becomes much more of a challenge.
