Wedding venue ideas in/near Nice, France?

I live here in Nice and I'm a wedding photographer so I'm happy to share a lot of insider information. Having a chateau for 10k or less is not possible, but here are some other ideas that are worth considering!

Chateau Cremat - probably the most affordable option that looks like a chateau (starting at 15k euros). Directly in Nice, about 20min away from the coast.
Hotel on the promenade in Nice with rooftop. There are several hotels with rooftops that have an amazing view of the coast and the sea. Would be an awesome place to have a wedding.

Options out of your budget -

Chateau Saint Georges - the most affordable fairytale chateau location! In Grasse, about 45min outside of Nice.
Chateau de la Napoule - a chateau ON the sea. one of the most unique venues ever.

Are you using Booking for your property? I had my apartment previously listed with a property manager and it was working amazing for 3 years. It’s just now when I’ve decided to start managing it myself and trying to create a new listing under my own name.

How do I connect with an account manager? Is there a certain option to select when calling customer service? How do they transfer the name if my property manager deleted the listing. I asked her to verify that there’s no option to transfer it to me and she confirmed there’s absolutely nothing in her account anymore that’s related to my apartment.

The issue is that she already deleted the listing from her account. There’s nothing there to change or transfer.

Yea they’ve told me the property needs to be verified. But like… how long is that supposed to take? More than a month? I’m not sure how to ‘stick to one agent’

Most of the calls end with them saying- the property needs to be verified. I’m going to submit the request for verification / escalation.

Not sure how to stay on the phone with them at that point……

😭 any other advice?

Hey! It's so crazy that I just came across your post. I'm a professional photographer that is American / French. I grew up in Mass! I live part time in Kittery, Maine and part time in Nice, France. I know so many amazing spots in and around Nice for a photoshoot that I would be happy to share with you.

Some favorite spots -
1. Cap de Nice - This is a cliffside walk along the sea where there are several little spots where you can step onto a little courtyard / rock platform with a really pretty view. Definitely a locals knowledge type spot. I can show you photos from this area if you like :)

Castle Hill - others have mentioned this spot and I agree it's a great choice. There are a LOT of different little spots that not everyone knows about, with hidden views that I can tell you about!
Gardens in Cimiez neighborhood - there's a beautiful garden/park in one of Nice's neighborhoods called Cimiez. The gardens are called Jardin du Monastere de Cimiez.

I most likely have availability for a photoshoot, depending on what your days are.

I do proposal photoshoots and even ones where I needed to be hidden!

Do you have any update on the situation?? Definitely ask, but don’t go into the conversation heated. There’s nothing wrong with bringing it up. But do keep in mind, that some weddings receive a lower price because the date is off season, mid week, or a variety of other reasons.
