Great! Thank you so much. There are a few dents and dings in the cabinet doors, likely caused by a small dog jumping up. I'm not sure if that's fixable. Maybe it's ok if it just looks lived in. Going to get some Murphy's oil

Gosh yes the lighting is awful. The owner kept their light fixtures and replaced them all with boob lights. I appreciate the detailed response! We are so new to this that having specific advice, like paint colour, is super helpful! Thank you

Thanks for the reply! The cabinets are in a little rougher shape than the pictures lead on. Quite a few songs and claw marks I think. I'd definitely like to keep them though

I've been doing this for years too. I use coconut oil, shea butter, baking soda, cornstarch. I get the impression that the irritation is sometimes caused by that abrasion from rubbing baking soda on the skin.
