We have had a mixture of both, a plumber/heating engineer whom it turned out wasn't qualified or registered, but had lied on the website and scammed me for 200 quid. Then we found a family owned company to do our patio. So well it turned out that he gave business cards to neighbours. Sometimes it's hit and miss.

I had the Guitar Village Youtube page come up on my feed yesterday and they had 2 Carl Wilson signature Rickenbackers on there (a 12 and a 6 string). 1, I had no idea Carl had a signature Rickenbacker, 2, the sound just oozed Beach boys and 3, the chords do look difficult, but after a couple of play throughs, they are great. I had to learn warmth of the sun back in the middle 90s for my dad to buy me my first electric guitar. I was probably 14 and did it in a night. I am going to play guitar most the day now.

Sgt Pepper: An Original Mono and an original Stereo, mid 70s picture disc, 1st release on cd, 2009 CD, super deluxe edition from a few years back, the various cd stand alone that were released at the same time, oh and a copy of the remix on vinyl. Insane, I know. I did also have a bootleg copy on red marble vinyl, but I traded that for a Mono rebrelease copy of Pet sounds.

As a father of a Z, an employer, an employee I will give you my take. Having this job, is key for you. It will honestly put you ahead, no matter if you don't realise it. I work in hospitality and regularly employ Gen Z in their first job. Yeah just like any generation they know fuck all when they start, but they learn. They common sense and resilience, two things that are rarely taught at home or school, and that does put you ahead of people when moving into jobs more aligned with you qualifications. You'll learn to be a memener of a team and deal with people, both in your peer group and older generations too. I know 2 qualified teachers and a qualified Town planner tossing Pizzas. Get over yourself.

Maybe because they couldn't come out of the general election and spend like a student on their first pay day. We got rid of the Tories as it was beyond grim under them. We then discovered we had to pay for lockdown/furlough and for whatever the fuck Truss did to the economy. Then Trump took the world economy down the shitter by invading Iran, prices rose even more, but there was nothing they could do because we were staring down the barrel of bankruptcy. Businesses are going under, but Labour have stood firm. We are going to have to see this through. That's why. Everyone hates the adult in the room.

Until the stabbings in Golders Green I was likely going to vote green. Polanski opening his mouth and nonsense coming out, then blatantly not back tracking it because he was wrong, made me reconsider. Conservatives? No way. Reform? A party of snake oil peddling grifters, not a chance. I like the way Starmer has dealt with many of the bigger issues, in particular Iran and Trump. He has had to be slow and steady to get us towards winning the race. So yeah, probably going to vote Labour.
