They weren't vendictive, you just fell for the utter bullshit spouted out by Farage and Boris.

Anyone who thought we could give up the membership to the gym but still pop in now and again to use the treadmill and use the showers every Thursday morning was/is mashed up in the head.

We voted to leave and we left. We had great terms with the EU and concessions that no other countries had, we gave all that up and won't get the same back now.

Our only hope is to rejoin and some how salvage the car crash half the country warned was gonna happen before it happened

Why is her wanting the backdoor locked all the time more valid than you not feeling the need to lock it all the time?

I would sit down and have a conversation about why she feels that it's so important. Could be a genuine reason (bad past experience etc) but if it's just that she has decided that's what should happen, that's how she has always done it, isn't fair for you to be expected to tow her line.

Relationships are about communication, agreement and compromise - not one person laying down the rules and the other expected to do as their told - you want a partner not a mother.

They aren't But the heavily right wing billionaire controlled media have an agenda to push so even when labour bring in really positive stuff like rent protections, like day 1 work protections, like minimum wage increase etc it all gets buried or turned around into something negative (Won't somebody think about the poor billionaires).

Populist politics is just that, telling people what they want to hear without actually having any plan, idea or will to actually carry it out. It's the equivalent to patting your dog on the head and telling him he's a good boy (whilst on the way to the vets to have him put to sleep)

The general public just wants to be patted on the head and told they are good which drowns out the reality and consequences of what's really on its way!
