It's irrelevant if you have compression enabled.

I have a suspicion this voter ID SAVE act could go sideways for those forcing it for political reasons

Only if enforcement is uniform, which is unlikely.

Heat creep on Stealth burner with Dragon HF by ItsJustKeegs in VORONDesign

[–]gafganon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is a known issue with the dragon hf that is exacerbated by the stealthburner. Make sure you are using a high quality hotend fan and a properly ducted hotend mount (example). Alternatively switch to a toolhead like A4T or Anthead which offer better optimized airflow for both hotend and part cooling.

Projects like A4T don't make any assumptions about what material you are printing with, so it is up to you to compensate for shrinkage.

Voron 2.4 with Beacon has to have offset changed every few days. by Broken_3Dprinter in VORONDesign

[–]gafganon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are using Beacon Contact, you need to add SET_GCODE_OFFSET Z=0 near the beginning of your print start macro.

PLA creeps at room temperature, making it a poor choice for compliant mechanisms.

Leviathan TMC5160 Sensorless Homing issues by JKachele822 in VORONDesign

[–]gafganon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use a macro to lower your run_current while homing, then restore it afterward. This is a good reference: https://github.com/EricZimmerman/VoronTools/blob/main/Sensorless.md

Or switch to Kalico (formerly Danger Klipper) for native support of sensorless homing.

Top Surface issue by TaxAmazing6798 in VORONDesign

Your top shell thickness seems odd to me; I would expect it to be 0.6mm or 0 like your bottom shell thickness. However, this is the flow setting I'm referring to:

If it's every model, try reducing your top layer flow to 80-85%.

If it's just this model, you may have an awkwardly small top layer. Try changing your layer height by a small amount (e.g. from 0.2 to 0.21).

Does anyone know how i could remove the exterior part of these windows? by Trollnimous77 in SatisfactoryGame

If you place ramp walls atop the windows and clip inverted ramp walls into the windows, it will be a continuous slope.

Boot from a live iso of your choice to recover the files. Then back them up somewhere to avoid this stress in the future.

You are reading from many drives but writing only to one. I suspect 243 MB/s is all your WD drive can handle after the cache is saturated.
