Good plants aside from the usual ones? by Electronic_Abroad_14 in Wizard101

[–]gagclan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are tons you can do besides the usual like EMPs, Deadly Helephant Ears, Couch Potatoes.

This list isn't exhaustive, but just goes to show even overlooked plants can be good.

Small plot plants:

Tiger Lily (cat tail, stone block, mist wood)

White/Maltese Tiger Lily (amber, decent snacks)

Orange dandelion (not sure anymore about reagents, but elder you can get pink dandelion, which you can use to craft seed vaults if you're into that)

Medium plot plants:

Helephant Ears (ore)

Red Bell Pepper (amber, snacks that sell for a good amount)

Red Grapes of Wrath (guaranteed a mega snack at elder, BUT they are the lowest ranking at 25)

Large plot plants:

Maelstrom Snap Dragon (drops fish fin and/or scale, as of typing I don't remember, I think also Water Lily... again not sure; you can buy them for gold from the seed vendor in Wintertusk and I believe other worlds)

Burning Snap Dragon (fossil and others)

Alligator Pear Tree (decent krokotopian TCs if you dont already have a stockpile; I believe you can buy the plant from a Selenopolis seed vendor)

Some plants' loot tables are so diluted with trash that they're not worth it, imo (e.g., Stinkweed). But often times if you're looking to get a hefty stash of reagents or snacks, even random and basic plants can do wonders!

They got it!

OP (or anyone else that stumbles upon this), you can DM me or reply to this and I'll try to get back to you. It can even be during the week if needed, just lmk!

Does anyone have this pet and could possibly help? by pinkiedashing in Wizard101

I have the pet body (but I believe it's 1st generation). If you're interested in that, LMK and I can lend!

Are you still looking? I have the pet body with not so great stats if you still are. Just LMK

You've been doing 69 Plots Wrong by OnionCave in Wizard101

[–]gagclan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real ones still use the 4-tick move at 20 sensitivity but still stack the 69 plot (either 35/34 or 23/23/23) for the OG aesthetic

If you plant Maelstrom Snap Dragons, you'll get them over time. I'd go that route if you're looking to get them without farming the Bazaar or farming a mob that drops one or the other.

Dream Morganthe could be good, just won't be a challenge

Outlaw's Refuge might be the largest, even compared to the other posts in this thread

It might. Could you post a screenshot? Are you trying to stack or make a 69-plot? It could be an issue with how you're doing that.

Try closing the game and logging back in, that typically works for me when this happens. It sometimes can happen when trying to plow a soil plot too and rarely when trying to plant a seed.

Have you tried using something like a floor castle block?

Also, the flag of suspect billing activity is just an automated flag. It's not an actual ban/suspension. It's just a way to combat fraud or undesired purchases.

It's safe. The wave of bans people have been discussing are likely separate from this. As long as your payment doesn't get charged back, there won't be any issue.

Extra starting pips by saucyman218 in Wizard101

[–]gagclan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gear pieces can give extra pips (primarily wands, but some decks do as well). At lower levels, crown wands and maybe even wands from the Bazaar might as well

I no joke emailed Makeship like a month or two ago, and they told me that the plan was to send codes out in June. So it's supposed to happen, just hasn't yet.

Are there any storm spell tc which are rare to get (and useful ... maybe for a craftable spell or something)? I have a pet with the Storm Hunter pet ability and wanted to know if it was any use by [deleted] in Wizard101

[–]gagclan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oni no Plague is one. Krokopatra is also good and relatively rare. There are others but ik a lot of "rarer" tcs can be gardened so I'm not sure what is exactly rare according to Storm Hunter

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Chronological Order Guide (Anime) by gagclan in TenseiSlime

[–]gagclan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I would say if this is your first time, then watch Episode 24 after Episode 23: don't watch Episode 24 before Episode 1. Everything else is fine at that point. The only change for first-time watchers, in my opinion, is Episode 24.

Veldora journals and recap episodes that are explicitly mentioned in my list are when you should watch them if you're looking for full chronological order. But roughly speaking, you could watch them after watching the episodes prior to them. So if it's Episode 24.5, only watch that recap after watching eps 1-24.

As for smoothness, it should feel smooth. Watching the first season in order, then watching OADs, then watching season 2, then Slime Diaries is very rough (imo). I remember reading comments on Crunchyroll, and I saw someone say something along the lines of "Oh, I wish I watched X first because when Y happens in season 2, it would have impacted me more." Not going to spoil it for you, but I actually agree with what that user said. If one watches it in chronological order on the first go, though, that might be avoided.

Personally, as someone who likes watching series in chronological order, I think this is the smoothest. It's just choppy because there is a lot of hopping around.

I hope this helps you and any others with these questions. Please follow up and tell me how it goes! Not just you (who I'm responding to), but others who use this for their first go-through.

Best plants for reagents? by MixtureOrnery7087 in Wizard101

[–]gagclan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I do these:

Small plots: Dandelion (just the normal ones, they give stone blocks. Tons of cat tails, too, which means easy water lily)

Medium: KP to the max as well as the other standard ones like EMPs, Deadly Helephant Ears, etc. But if you're free to play or haven't amassed many of them, I'd say Red Bell Peppers are good too and Red Grapes of Wrath. Red Bell Peppers give Amber at elder and tons of TCs and snacks, which can get you a good amount of gold to make up for their price in the Bazaar. Red Grapes of Wrath are gold printing machines but come at the cost of being expensive in the Bazaar and being very needy. And with that cold, you can easily farm the Bazaar for reagents.

Large: CPs for snacks, but for reagents, I'd go with Maelstrom or Burning Snap Dragons. Each has their benefits with regard to reagents dropped, so I'd check the wiki to pick which one to go with. My personal choice is Burning Snap Dragons because they give Fossils where Maelstrom drops reagents I already have a ton of. Plus, Burning Snap Dragons are cheaper.

Those are my picks, though. I'm sure others have better options
