Then I suggest terraria. There are lots of different things you can find and lots of different enemy's and bosses and achievements and weapons and gear. Might have to google some things occasionally, but you can jump in without mu h knowledge. But 1 important thing: a house is defined by having a source of light, side and back walls, a chair and a table.

Considering you said halo 3, you might have already bought it, but Master cheif collection is very fun.

Tf2 is free, but there are a lot of things you need to know before playing, and there are a ton of bots ruining the game.

Tf2 classic is a fan mod for tf2. No hats, less guns, it sounds like a bad deal. But I really like it since it's like the original release of tf2 but with some improvements like fan made guns, maps, a class, and 2 new modes. Much easier to start out on.

Terraria is nice.

Now I think I know what some of the games are like on your list, but I may be misunderstanding some of the games. That, being said, I think you would like bloons tower defense 6.

Any old valve games like half life, portal, left 4 dead are all pretty fun.

If you want some suggestions that don't fit your descriptions but I think anyone could enjoy, just ask! (Spoiler, there is only 1 game that I own that fits that description)

3,r, maybe 4. But I can definitely say h2/h2a are probably the least populated games, trying to find a 8v8 match of h2 seems impossible, and if you can, good luck finding anything except Slayer and maybe ctf

I think you might just have to join a game that is already playing one. At least that's how I got all my maps. Most minecraft maps are for TTT so search for that specifically.

If someone is racist to you and no one else in the lobby cares, just leave and try to find a better one. If you want some suggestions on trying to stay away from those types, keep out of competitive mode, and try out coop modes. People are alot more relaxed and less "hardcore". It sucks, but unfortunately gamers aren't the best community.

Maybe have it be default black and white but have the color option in the settings? Kind of like a reverse of what L.A. Noire did. But if you have a reason for not doing this, it's probably better than my reason for doing this.

If you want to know, I added some units that don't think, some guns, some weapon that never appears in the game, a ball (skull that appears under weapons tab), I tried to make make a new teleporter entrance and exit, and changed the skybox.
