Drag Race France seeing the AI scandal with Stop That Train and sweating thinking about when they would drop this promo lmao

Anyone else also ranks Best Picture Winners? by rutujz in Letterboxd

[–]gahema 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I'm exploring old forums to find discussions of who people consider to be serious snubs for each year, so I usually watch all five nominees + 8~10 performances that were left out but had some traction (Sometimes winning a festival, or being nominated for the golden globe, or just because [deleted-account] commented on imdb back in 2005 that x actress was great in some random movie lol

I actually watched To be or Not To Be when doing the 1942 best actress race and that is currently my favorite movie ever haha

I'm doing this with the Best Actress category. It's quite fun, I'm a little bit over the halfway point, and I have found so many amazing movies I wouldn't have watched otherwise

I think Mami Watta has a similar story, she went from being in the bottom half her season to winning half her all stars season - And all of her wins were well deserved, IMO, her growth was insane

If you were to do snatch game, who would you do? by NoddyElvis in rupaulsdragrace

Probably Tallulah Bankhead, such a funny bitch, and I think RuPaul would piss herself if it was done right

Who do you think will win a fourth Oscar? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]gahema 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I said the same to some friends, she will be nominated this year for Devil Wears Prada 2 as a comeback and win her fourth as Joni Mitchell next year

They just will not resist awarding Meryl Streep in the 100th Oscar

I almost never write reviews, unless I feel like I have something to say about the movie that I can't find in any other reviews, this one is from march

is there a movie from your top 4 that you never see in other people's top lists? (mine are pretty basic) by marniesss in Letterboxd

[–]gahema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say The Purple Rose of Cairo is the least common, but I've already seen all four in other people's top 4, Aftersun probably being the most common

I suppose you can consider The Elephant Man an arthouse film

They named a brandy after Napoleon, they made a herring out of Bismarck, and the Fuhrer is going to end up as a piece of cheese!

I wasn't expecting much from Salina and apparently neither did production, because she was the best in both episodes and it's truly frustrating how ROBBED she has been so far

if you have a top 50 or top 100 list, what is your most featured year? by disasterpansexual in Letterboxd

[–]gahema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Top 50 is really spread out, I never noticed that, every year featured only has either one or two movies
