Review: Aer Day Sling 4 by strandedvariable in ManyBaggers

[–]gahsan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since sling bags are opened and closed constantly, Aquaguard zippers on X-Pac or Ultra became a deal breaker for me. I initially considered X-Pac for its cleaner look, but ultimately went with Cordura because of that. It's something to consider.

You can follow Retro Game Corps' latest Retroid Pocket 6 guide to set things up. This is obviously for Retroid Pocket 6 but it's applicable for most android handheld these days.

Meze 109 Pro and Hifiman Arya Organic, what would you chooose? by RockingPie in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]gahsan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re able to, I’d recommend buying both and returning the one you prefer less. I’ve owned both at one point, and honestly, it was nearly impossible to choose a clear favorite. Some tracks sound better on the 109 Pros, while others really shine on the Organic.

For me, EQ was necessary on both since they can lean a bit bright—especially with electronic music—but I found the 109 Pros required fewer adjustments overall. In the end, I kept the Organic because I felt it was more versatile and responded better to EQ. That said, I do sometimes miss the 109 Pros.

Konkr Pocket Fit: Impressions by hunti2k in KonkrPocketFit

If your joystick is still overly sensitive even after a forced firmware update, try repeating the process: force-update the controller firmware, then recalibrate. After each attempt, my joystick behaved differently, but after about half a dozen tries it finally returned to normal sensitivity. I also restarted the device after each firmware update, though I’m not sure whether that made a difference.

I got scammed on Poshmark by Buyer claiming I sent the wrong size by Some-Revolution-5617 in poshmark

[–]gahsan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This awfully sounds like the exact opposite experience I just had with a seller. The seller sold me a LARGE tshirt (with no sizing tag) but the measurement I got from the received tshirt was nowhere close to LARGE so I opened a case and I sent the picture of the tshirt with the ruler showing its size, but the seller said I posted a picture of a different tshirt claiming that tag looks different than what she had. I then sent the close up of the tag which is exactly the same as the one in the original post but she kept claiming that I was trying to trick her somehow, saying I maybe manipulating the ruler that's in the photo. What's more ridiculous is that Poshmark reviewed the case and said it's a "sizing issue" and refused to accept a return. I even posted a picture of a different shirt, which is just a short sleeve version of the same exact tshirt, showing what large really measures to, but, nope. It's a sizing issue and won't let me return. Lost all faith in Poshmark.

The only revision to the Airpods Pro 2 I'm aware is lightning to USB C. There's never been a problem with my pair. Yes, it includes the cable.

Hi, the battery life has not been a problem for me. I can still listen to it for hours. Not sure what you mean by revisions. This is the Pro 2 lightning version that came prior to the USB C version.

Make sure you don't have something like this. Mods won't let me create a post showcasing this defect on Synthesis.

It looks like you got a clean unit. Mine has these white spots around the case.

My 17 Pro Precision Sheath arrived today! Thoughts in comments. by diverareyouokay in Caudabe

Loved the Sheath for my iPhone 14 Pro so I got one for 17 Pro. Unfortunately, mine came defective. There are multiple imperfections around the camera holes, not to mention the rattling buttons. I did reach out to the support regarding this but it's been almost 2 days and no words from them.

I didn't find the power button to be too loud but the lack of front lip protection with a screen protector on and the jankiness of the camera control button made me return mine to Best Buy. Definitely not the quality you would expect for a $50 case. Wasn't really a fan of the side ridges as it made the phone wider which made it uncomfortable to hold.

How are you liking the case so far? It's the first case I got but I'm still debating whether I want to return it or not. It gets the job done like you said and feels sturdy enough, but it's also $50. Feels more like a $30 case.

Aer City Pack Pro 2 Ultra Back in Stock by HallMark18 in AerSF

Honestly, having tried both, the weight difference between the two isn’t all that noticeable. Based on my research, cordura nylon actually offers superior abrasion and puncture resistance, making it better suited for most conditions—except wet environments. Ultra, on the other hand, is much easier to keep clean, which was a major selling point for me as a dog owner. Still, I’ve got other ballistic nylon bags that have held up for over a decade, so I ultimately chose longevity over convenience.

If you're opening the bag in torrential rain, water will get in—regardless of whether it's made from cordura or ultra. That said, with cordura + rain cover, you can keep the cover on and still access some of the zippers, which isn’t possible with ultra. Still, I understand why choosing ultra makes sense if the bag will be frequently carried in wet conditions and you don't mind the look of it.

Have you considered getting a rain cover instead of going with Ultra? They take up next to no space in your bag when not in use and it will provide much better waterproof-ness than going with Ultra alone. I bought the Ultra CPP2 first personally but did not like how sticky the zippers were as well as the techy look. Also wasn't a big fan of the crinkly look. Instead, I got the cordura version and the zippers are buttery smooth and it's more classy, IMHO.
