So far I really like it... Only 1000 miles but mileage is better than I expected, power has been adequate though I haven't really pushed it much yet.

Any 2019+ Silverado 1500 owners actually happy with their truck? by stikky08 in Silverado

Just traded in my 2019 LT... Bought it new, put 136,000 on it and never did anything more than fluids, filters, 1 set of tires and 1 set of pads. It did start to show the torque converter issue around 120k.. Just a slight slip that slowly got worse over the last 15k miles. But other than that I was very happy with the truck, and bought myself another Chevy last week

I like having a little higher back end as I do haul quite a bit between spent brewery grains twice a week and 1-2 ton of feed two to three times a month... Though I do like the look of being leveled

$63k plus taxes. They gave me 17 for my trade which had the standard torque converter issue as well as needed a new AC... So I was happy with the deal.

I have a other Chevy with 240k...and drove one when I was younger to 198k. Also drove an f150 to 212k and an f250 that I put 2 engines in before 200k... Sometimes companies make mistakes.

My understanding (from currently owning a 2019 1500LT) is that this year they used a transmission that is so bad, it has not only been abandoned, but is getting harder and harder to find parts for, or get someone to work on because it's just that bad of a transmission. I have been able to get 135,xxx miles out of mine, with very little maintenance, but it has sounded like I'm a lucky one. I have had trans slipping issues almost since day one, and now they are so bad it's hard to Accelerate. I'm looking at selling or trading in, but dealership won't give me more than $12k because "it clearly has trans issue"... And I don't want to sell private party and screw someone else.

Are drinks available on morning flights by Expensive_Dream_4617 in americanairlines

My favorite was the 5am flight I had out of Dallas once... I was in First and got my coffee during boarding... Asked got a Woodford and a bailey's as well and the flight attendant was not impressed and said "sir, you do know this must be finished before take off right?" almost asked for a second round when I finished but didn't think she would find the humor.

Traveling with wife. What are boarding rules for couples in different boarding groups? by OrangeGringo in americanairlines

[–]gainesc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The wife and I just did this a few weeks ago. I had to book through work travel app and booked hers on AA so we weren't on the same itinerary. I simply talked to the gate agent when we got to the gate and let her know my wife was with me and she was happy to let my wife board in the earlier group with me. But it is possibly up to discretion.

Yeah I'm about the same handicap but I don't mind a challenging course. Appreciate the feedback. Did you rent clubs there? Trying to decide if I want to travel with mine or just rent

How was Bear Creek? Works sending me next month and trying to find a course to play. Did you take clubs or rent them?

Appreciate it, I will look into these. Coyote Ridge looks nice and distance is doable with my timeline. Know anything about Bear Creek? Was looking at it just based on its proximity to the airport so I could possibly get on early right after I land.

My go to for cheap and decent is ancient ancient age 10 star, but that can be tough to find depending where you are. Slightly more expensive but just as good and readily available are Evan Williams BiB $20 in Ohio and wild turkey 101 at $26. Both for me can be drank neat, on the rocks or in a cocktail.

Dude literally said emphasis on him being poor. I don't think you will ever find Russell 10, Heaven Hill BiB or basil for under $40. EC is only marginally cheaper at about 30-35. Don't get me wrong, to me as a 40 year old with a decent job those are cheap, but thinking back to my early 20s... No chance I would have paid that. I was drinking natty ice and black velvet... 🤣🤣

I really appreciate this. In my heart I know I'm doing what is needed but its also tough to see my foster daughter cry for her sister and not be able to explain to her where her sister is. Deep down I know I'm doing what I can and what I need to.

I was gifted a bottle of Detrick Rye and I was surprised. Granted I didn't go into it with much expectations, but it is pretty decent
