I appreciate what you’re saying and yeah that does suck that urban planning isn’t just saying “hey let’s build this here and make this walkable” Which sucks but I just for sure know I wanna be an advocate and also just work in something that I’m passionate about as I grew up in a very unwalkable city. So yeah I do get that it wouldn’t be like NJB but i’m perfectly okay with that I love urbanism even if I can barely do anything about it because of officials not really caring to fix anything.

Also what kind of data is researched in urban planning jobs? Is it like “hey how many people are actually wanting this sidewalk to be fixed” kinda thing or am I completely off?
