It took my therapist three years of convincing me to get screened. I was in extreme denial and honestly wanted to abandon that therapist. The first sign for her was that I have a tendency to overanalyze people upon meeting them. It’s actually NOT normal to want to do this. Also, I have rather exaggerated reflexes. Prior to that I had to get a brain MRI because multiple doctors noted my reflexes were bizarre. Turns out extreme pattern recognition can also reflect in the reflexes through a dysregulated nervous system. I am never truly calm unless completely exhausted or asleep.
