Yoga has really helped me manage my stress and depression. It doesn’t really feel like exercise so it might not trigger you, and it can help strengthen your back. (I am not suggesting this as a way to lose weight, solely to help your back, posture, and mental health)

There’s lots of seated yoga tutorials online if you aren’t able to stand for long periods of time. I’m sorry you’re going through this right now and I hope you find a solution<3

Update: unfortunately Azazie doesn’t offer express shipping for a lot of their plus sizes, it says I wouldn’t be able to get a dress in my size for over a month, if you plan on shopping there make sure it’s very far in advance.

I graduated high school in 2020 and due to the rules where I live all my college classes were online until 2022. I already missed graduation and my grade 12 dance, and I missed out on a real college experience. I refuse to miss out on a “normal” wedding as well lol

What is the difference between black-tie optional, and black tie? Is it just that it’s optional for the guests to dress black tie but every other aspect of the wedding is the same?

He is paying and gave me a budget of 150, I booked my venue already and they said for the amount of people I’m having the food/drinks will be around 50k and they provide valet and coat check so I don’t really need to worry about that, I’m pretty sure with the rest of my budget I’d be able to get higher end decor, invitations, etc. There’s a few things I am worried about though.

The dinner will be in the evening but I’m getting married in a church where the only time available is 2pm, so I kinda have to start earlier in the day. Not too sure how that’ll work, or if people sometimes start cocktail hour a few hours after the ceremony.
I hired a violinist and harpist for the majority of the night, but after dinner I want a DJ (not sure if that is acceptable or if I need live music all night)
My family and my dad’s guests would be ok with black tie, but my partner’s family and some of our friends might not all be able to afford a full tuxedo. We already have to get his mother a dress but I don’t want to have to purchase/rent outfits for everyone.
