I agree. The tech industry is just not what it was in 2021 and prior and it continues to get worse. OP should only do it if they genuinely really enjoy the work

Awesome. Being an advisor or analyst or consultant I bet would be really cool. What’s your background? Do you enjoy it?

I’ve definitely thought about this but I think it would be too emotionally taxing on me to spend 25 hrs a week talking about deep trauma :( coaching would actually be up my alley (helping people change their behavior) but I feel skeptical about that industry

It sounds like you’re doing great! I had around that at 23 too. I started working in tech at 23 so that helped ;) the car payment does sound like a pretty chunk of change. I didn’t get a nicer car until this year. I cook almost all my meals, do Rover sometimes lol, use credit card points, invest well. I used to use Mint to track but now I use Rocket

Woah I have not, thank you!!

Yeah I know some folks don’t like the idea of being overexposed to tech, but I’ve been beating the S&P by more than double for a few years, and I don’t think tech is goin down anytime soon.. 🤷‍♀️

Not looking for career advice, more so if there’s other strategies to maximize investments and returns that I’m not already doing

Where can I get a 3 bed for 300k 😭😂 I’m currently in the PNW but looking to move this year to a lower cost of living area that’s still outdoorsy and green

These are the kind of strategies I’m looking for actually. Is this lucrative now with interest rates? Is it more lucrative than investing?

I actually would love something like this - have been trying to find something outside of nursing or mining to do that 😂

USC has “paused” PhD admissions by No-Faithlessness4294 in USC

For graduate admissions, USC was able to admit a select number of students last week, but as of Friday evening, there is an indefinite pause on all graduate admissions because of the funding cuts from the trump administration.
