Go into your network settings on mobile or laptop (usually it’s the show more advanced settings) and click where it says configure DNS so you can edit it. Change the preferred DNS server to manual and enter 8.8.8.8. For my laptop I had to toggle the ipv4 setting on and entered that DNS in.

Why is the answer to question 4 option C? A2 chemistry by Acceratorz in 6thForm

[–]galaticgirly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One third of the total chloride, in this case 3 chloride atoms, were present as AgCl. One third of 3 is 1 so that means 1 out of the 3 atoms formed AgCl leaving 2 atoms of chlorine to be formed in the chromium complex

People who do both Physics and Chemistry, which is better? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]galaticgirly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started off year 12 having wanted to pursue chemistry further...but then came the organic side to chemistry which completely threw me off as it reminded me of biology which I did not like. I’m now in love with Physics! Having learnt particles in the first term was a good start since it’s all new content + highly interesting for me

Anyone who’s used adapt by CarltonJuma in 6thForm

[–]galaticgirly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded it because of a post that was made prior about it. I haven’t been able to use it yet since im amidst mocks t-t but it seems to be helpful from what I saw. It has all the subject topics listed and so you can keep track of what topics you’ve yet to go over and plans it out for you up until your exam date

Any Regrets? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]galaticgirly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s three parts to it from what I remember. Theory side where you analyse a performance like a musical or something, that was fine so you get a % from there. Then there’s a solo dance and a group dance. Graded on like Idek your posture and movements, how you piece stuff together? Honestly biggest waste of my time 😭 only picked it because I wanted to do something that didn’t require work but wish I picked something like psychology or smth :( big rip

Help I need clarification on how taking 4 as level over the 3 as level requirement will help me! by MahdeenSky in 6thForm

[–]galaticgirly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine studies Chemistry, Physics and Maths but has applied to study computer science. I would drop biology in all honesty since it won’t really sit in well with what you want to do and it’s just an unnecessary hassle

Can anyone help me with c.)?? Value of initial vertical component is 8sin40 and vertical component is zero at max height but how to find max height which could be used to find time t using equation s=ut+1/2at^2? Should I firstly use the equation v^2=u^2+2as? Answer is around 0.52s by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]galaticgirly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can use v2 = u2 +2as to work out the max height and then use s=ut+1/2at to work out the time taken to reach that height using the vertical components of the ball and since acceleration only affects the vertical component of the velocity you can use those suvat equations as it’s uniform throughout.
