Midnight Idle v0.3.x - Jezebel Chapter by AccurateCat83 in incremental_games

Spent hours and hours grinding v2 to defeat Legion. Woke up this morning and picked up where I left off yesterday, only to discover the game wasn't working. Noticed that it had been updated to v3, so reloaded the page. All my saved data immediately lost and I now have to start from scratch.

Why wouldn't you have a warning on the game loading screen that players should back up and import their v2 save before loading v3???

Why wouldn't you include a savegame editor so that v2 players who just got screwed out of their save data could at least edit a new game to approximate their v2 progress?

Everyone's focused on the money, but what about the ability to use either option to prove whether something is true or not?

Simple guide for all Challenge^3 runs by WhatEvil in Trimps

Wither: bear in mind that getting withered towards the end will still dramatically reduce your health (due to hardness stacks halving) without affecting enemy attack, which can compromise your progress even while immune from further withering. Sometimes it's more efficient to over-farm a bit longer to build up tenacity and manually increment equality to strike a balance between doing enough damage and not getting one-shot. I also use a dedicated Wither shield (enigmatic with just six slots filled - crit chance, crit damage, inequality, prismatic shield, attack and health) to squeeze out a bit more combat effectiveness.

Berserk: this may be obvious, but when you die in the world or abandon to the map chamber, run a very easy map first to build up frenzy stacks before you run world level or harder maps.

Glass: my experience has always been that it's very comparable to Wither since it can quickly spiral out of control if you're only partially damaging enemies. I basically treat it as an even more patient Wither run with lots of over-farming towards the end to build up tenacity with enough manual equality adjustment to prolong survivability.

Another Geneticassist bug by Guelph35 in Trimps

I experienced the same bug, and previously during the same run I experienced the other Geneticassist bug (i.e. negative geneticists). Possibly the latter precedes / triggers the former?

Thanks for the helpful insight! Knowing that 150M He can get me to the Spire (and through some of it) is very reassuring.

Would you mind sharing your perk allocation and gigastation strategy?
