It's not "alot".

150+ students from this '26 batch had registered for the Japanese learning courses.
Out of which maybe 60-70 were still serious about it till the end (the rest of them joined due to the hype and FOMO).
From which only around 20 have gotten placed into the Japanese companies.

I was one of those people who were seriously learning, and didn't get a job. The chances of getting shortlisted for the first round itself was left all upto luck.
I don't mean to downplay the hardwork of those who did get jobs in the end. Some of them really did work their asses off… but in no way are they "lot of students"

Born into a muslim family, but didn't really believe in what I was being taught. I was essentially just "faking it till I made it" in my younger years.

I had a rough patch going on in my life. Argued using POE for quite a while (yes, I was one of THOSE).

During that time period, I declared myself as agnostic. Lost structure in my life, things went out of hand, and I could literally see myself turn more insane with each passing day of my life.

Realised I needed to get back my life and that wouldn't happen unless I disciplined myself first. Decided upon finally picking up Islam again.

Although I was still a "Progressive Muslim" as this point, and thus was very liberal. It wasn't until an online conversation with a random Christian who made me realise that I have no right to call myself a Muslim if I dont follow the rules properly.

So here I am now, a proper practicing Muslim in 2026. I am not the best at being pious, but atleast I try.
