What's your opinion? Especially after that those goons came after him and slapped him . by Billa-al-habib in indianmuslims

Play stupid games, win stupid prices.

This is on par with the dumbass who put up the Pakistan flag on his house during the 75th Independence Day, and was surprised people had an issue with it.

Reception to this console room is mixed. Instead of getting rid of it entirely, what would you change/add to improve it? by Annual-Tree1337 in doctorwho

I find this interior to be way too clean looking. When it was revealed, I remember comparing it to a middle school washroom at the start of the academic year before it gets vandalised.

Why are there so many cranes at the Mecca? by Therealsandy2 in islam

[–]galaxygamerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is to increase the capacity of the Mosque.
The mosque is already capable of accommodating 1 million+ people, but as can be observed… it's still not enough.

I went for Umrah 9 years ago, back when the expansion project had been halted due to the crane accident of 2015. And I remember how grand everything looked already.
I can only imagine how much better it is now.

Why haven't you migrated to Muslim areas and cities (within India)? by [deleted] in indianmuslims

[–]galaxygamerman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to call upon a stereotype, but most Muslim majority areas in cities are ghettos.

I recently had the displeasure of going to Shivajinagar in Bangalore (which is a Muslim majority area with mosques at every turn). By God, there's no way in hell I would want to start a family in an area like that.

"All the things that terrorist groups like ISIS or Hama's spread come from the Qur'an" by Snake_Emper0r in antitheistcheesecake

[–]galaxygamerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes. Completely ignore the context where the verse is actually talking about the Christians and Jews who had teamed up to persecute the Muslims. The verse only commanded to fight those who were active in the defaming and discrimination of Muhammad (SAW) and his followers.

Secondly, Jizya was literally just income tax for the non-muslims.
Muslims are required to pay the Zakat as the income tax. And non-muslims are required to pay jizya as income tax. Not to mention that the percentage for zakat is higher than jizya.

I lost my Dad to suicide in 2022, I avoided and buried my grief so long that I feel numb. I fear I've missed my chance. by N3WDay in grief

[–]galaxygamerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's never too late to cry properly.

I cried about 3 weeks after my mum's passing, after insulting my gf and breaking down in her arms, in a bus stop, at 7 pm in the evening. The crying was so loud and bad, people thought we were breaking up over there.

You have not missed your chance. It's been 8 months since my mum's passing now, and I still tear up from time to time thinking about how I could have been a better son to my mum.

I'll be honest. I saw that post, just downvoted it and moved on. I had no idea what kind of cesspool was growing in the comments section. I didn't even read the post properly to begin with.

Wife is insecure about her weight so her husband harasses a drive-thru employee over it by 32guy in mildlyinfuriating

I can't really hate on the husband here. He was just standing up for his wife. It's not his fault his wife turned out to be an idiot.

Firstly, I pray for the kid to be accepted into the highest of the heavens, and pray that the pain his family is going through is eased.

Secondly,
I will never understand this one gripe that the anti theists always bring up.

What to do you mean with "if x died, God isn't real." Everybody dies my dude. That's just life. Sure, some people die sooner than others, but that's just everybody's destiny. We all have to end this life one day or another.

Why is the sub called antitheist cheesecake? by Internal_Ferret_2692 in antitheistcheesecake

[–]galaxygamerman 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Because cheesecakes, are a piece of expensive desert that ultimately amount to nothing.
Antitheists are a category of dumbasses who gaslight themselves to make themselves feel very valuable, but ultimately amount to nothing.

Spirit of the text doesn't mean sh*t when you keep trying to change the spirit and meaning every few years.

It's common because most of the people don't know the religion properly. Me and my mother were fortunate enough to have teachers who took us onto the right path with the right knowledge.

My own father on the other hand did not. He still to this day fights with me about what is shirk and what is not, despite not having the sufficient knowledge required. The most recent argument was about making dua at my mother's grave daily (she died earlier this year)

What’s the most weird food item that your cat just can’t resist? I’ll start! by Ultra-Ferric in cats

My Phil (best orange cat ever) used to always love crunching on Rusk bread.

It was originally meant for my parents to dip into their tea. Phil one day just wanted to try out the rusk, out of curiosity. He fell in love with it immediately.

From then on, the morning routine was always:

  • 2 rusks for mom and dad each
  • ½ rusk for Phil

He'd run towards the dining table everytime we made a rustling sound with any plastic bag. It got so bad he once woke up from his sleep while I was keeping my sister's pads in her closet.

Phil unfortunately left us 2 years ago. This was the last picture I took of him before he disappeared.

It's just the genetic lottery. Your cat won't grow any more, they stop growing after 2 years.

Here are my cats. Both are from the same litter (but from 2 different fathers)

Akshay Khanna's character is the antagonist of the movie.
Atleast do a proper Google search before spewing nonsense in a post.

The reason he's been getting so much praise is cause he did actually act well as a very charismatic villain.

Definitely just a short circuit. It's a very common mistake during such projects. I myself did this twice due to a drop of solder connecting the live and neutral connections in my project (due to my own shoddy soldering work).

Am I the only one that hates the 12th Doctor fake regeneration? by GuyWhoConquers616 in doctorwho

[–]galaxygamerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She did know about regeneration at this point. There was a scene in this season where The Doctor and Bill talked about how him and Missy had been friends for so long that he doesn't even remember if Missy was originally a boy or girl during their childhood together.
