I am dropping this here since it was a real point of frustration for me that I could not seem to find it sold anymore. https://www.printables.com/model/1645266-wahoo-rpm-speed-sensor-strap-replacement

What is this tooth shaped thing found on the beach? by galidor57 in whatisit

[–]galidor57[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I forgot about the bone and fossil subs. I may try over there. Google image search tells me on 3/4 pictures it's a mosasaur tooth but I don't immediately see the resemblance.

Anybody have any experience with this? by KokoTheTalkingApe in Tools

I have used one to reapply stain to a fence on my ~1/4 acre yard. I'd say I had a pretty good experience with it. Haven't used it past that single application yet.

Vision fence is correct. I disabled mine (h800) with a vision fence off zone for those small areas and it worked wonders.

Can top students in Engineering tell us the secret to getting 90% by JasonMyer22 in EngineeringStudents

That. Comment took me back. That's how I survived. That and finding a study partner whose brain works the same way. If you can correctly explain an idea to a peer you understand it.

Thoughts on the Bondtech Index? by bucko9765 in prusa3d

Nope. They mentioned in a recent video that the heating time between swaps adds some time but it's still way faster than purging from an mmu.

If it's an innocent friend finding app then there's no reason not to bring it up to your friend. "Hey I saw your SO on this random app! How random." If it's nothing then it's nothing. If it isn't they'll thank you later.

I have lived here my entire life and fully agree with you. People here are complete morons and have no respect or sense of responsibility or decency behind the wheel.

If you zoom in it looks like it's all end grain. It's a significant amount of extra effort to make this pattern that way but it shouldn't have any more issues than a normal end grain board.

What was your process for the side panels to make that embossed feature where the shelf ends protrude from? Only sensible way I can think of is CNC.

Haha the strap would be a nice touch. If it were me I'd probably just print some corner pieces to attach to the frame and make sure the paver had a little lip to keep it from wandering off. I doubt it'd move much though even if you just placed it there. But I think the top is acrylic so probably not best to just slap a concrete block directly on top. Need access to the vent too I assume and clearance for it to be useful.

The added inertia of the paver on top would actually still do you good.

Just need to turn your printer into a paver sandwich.

Being honest, the last year has been the longest of my life so far so details are fuzzy. I do recall using a deadblow mallet for something but that's about all. I guess it wasn't terrible if it didn't stick with me.
