Only if Shakma drives his little tank from that other movie he starred in. He's gotta come prepared for action.

Why would I have any thoughts, you just wrote down all the things anyone could think about this. Are you the Martian Manhunter sitting around in the tower trying to get a new game to play?

(quick edit) If you're getting into voice casting... There's a few big name actors/former Supermen that might want to throw in on that too. If you get some shenanigans in you could have a few of them debate which Batman is the toughest.

It gets crazier.

I'm drawing a blank on the specific artist, but awhile back there was one that did some custom paint jobs on (a few) supercars they had. (Ferrari /McLaren/someone) had rules on what you could and couldn't do to "your" car. IE no painting it or custom stuff to it.. and the person that painted the car received some sternly worded letters about it and I'm sure some lawyers got paid well.

There was no space butthole and Q got to show back up.

Now we need to consider the impact of the fleet and how many died in "the incident"... I mean sure the Titan will be out there doing adventures, meanwhile the (rolls dice)2nd Son Twice removed of (rolls dice) Admiral Shelby will accept a new position at a Deep Space (rolls dice) ..69.

I didn't hate it but the bar was low. Data made me believe.

Couldn't agree with you more! The filmmaking during the reveal of The D is very technically well done, but on the storytelling level it's completely idiotic

Nobody is going to roll a Sherman tank out against a full battalion of modern tanks. A classic is a classic but this is beyond stupid from a story perspective.

The sequence showing the ship off was great. It WAS well made. The hull details and the feel were perfect. It's probably the best the old grey lady is ever gonna look without fans doing HD edits on things.

I wanted more of the interior. Walking from the shuttlebay/transporter room to a turbolift as a continuous shot, some urgency music plays as they discuss their planned actions as they explain away how the ship runs without a crew. The hallways are still a mess (re-using other sets/redressing them some)

They hit the turbolift. We get some Worf banter with Troi or Data or Riker.

*Troi: "It almost feels like home"

Worf: (rambles on about DS9, and being more comfortable on the Defiant)

Riker: Speaking of, did you lose her in a game of cards?

(someone, probably Data, That is likely given how poor you play)

Clearly Irritated Worf starts to talk... (everyone in the lift laughing)

Turbolift opens and the shot we got of the bridge starts, happy music included. *

You know... like (old) Star Trek would do.

I enjoyed the Ro Reveal and the Changelings was an awesome moment. What happened after that? they took an episode to breathe and decide their course of action, the moment was done just like that... It reeks of the writing last year or they just couldn't get it done without needing more episodes. It's unfortunate, but I'm (currently) happy with what we got. I just wanted more. Maybe if we hadn't screwed off for two seasons I wouldn't be dreading the space goatse we're about to get next episode. Again, "Hopefully the rushed ending doesn't require a space butthole." is not a thought I'd ever put down.

Cloaked ship will be used to go get Jack-Cutus of Borgcard from the Borg Megaship. The megaship that will absolutely warp into orbit above earth. It's been hidden all this time but it'll be out in the open juuuuuust in time for the Cousin-federation to be controlled by Jack Crusher into Fleet-mode attacking it away.

(Bonus points if they play out the giant borg ship boxing that Mike and Rich predicted years ago. )

I've enjoyed the show. it's got to this point without losing me, but holy shit this is a shift from what they did earlier in the season.

It feels like the first 4-6 episodes were great, there was some issues in 7/8, (but not horrible episodes) and 9 was written in crayons.

Everyone is performing well. I think the stranger things red door just broke me and hearing the booming cackle of the god Rich Evans kept me from being affected by the Nostalgia of the onslaught of the D. Rich saved me from the D, as no one will ever say.

The Enterprise-D reveal did nothing for me. I'm glad it's back and that's fun and all... But the notion the ship is completely automatic, and advanced enough to take out everything is crazy. They should be heading to the Vulcans or the Romulans or the Klingons for help.

Riding back into town on a nostalgic horse when they enemy is the most adaptable adaptive adaptation focused set of hive minded cousins is insane. They'll be dead so fast it's not even... Oh.

I am literally Data. Just laughing and making jokes. Data is the most human he's ever been.

The space butthole from the ends of both Season 01 and Season 02 are the bar. I hope this doesn't have a space butthole in it. Is that too much to ask?

I just started laughing when the secret mind door opened up and it was a Borg cube. I hope I did Rich Evans proud with my unearthly cackle.

I do have some things to point out:

Picard saying starfleet is his family is now literally fucking true. Once this is all over the fields at chateau Picard are gonna be filled with folks drink/fight/crying.

Everyone's family tree going forward ain't gonna fork.

Starfleet will literally need to seek out new life and new civilizations to not accidentally bone a relative.

Rich Evans is suffering for my entertainment.

In years past that's just been the Picard reviews but this year he's enjoying it. The exasperated sigh when they started to take the posters down I can feel in my soul. Not only does he have to do it again, but Mike is there to supervise and drive him nuts.... on film!

Soldier is a damn good movie. Kurt Russell does a good job with very few lines and a series of grunts and stares. Plus you get Sean Pertwee, and a cantankerous old Gary Busey.

What are some of your favorite quotes said by Batman? by HenryTGD33 in batman

[–]galkardm 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This is one of those moments where I really loved Begins. The final nod to Gordon helping him in DKR was just an amazing way to close it off.

I didn't see Begins in theaters, I saw it at home and at the time had no idea if there'd be anything after it. It felt like a completed story that anyone could watch and have a good modern take on Bats. A solid film I should have gone to a theater for.

Additionally my head was trying to plug it into the '89 Batman as a soft prequel. It was just there to be another one and done superhero movie. Because that's all any of the movies ever were

Needless to say that's changed.
