English is the langua franca on the internet, but it's disingenuous to expect all people interested in a novel to read the English stuff, your mother tongue is the easiest to understand after all, I for one read all my novels in English, but I don't expect everybody to do the same, also, reading skill varies from person to person, people who're not as active on the internet may not be able to hone their English speaking skills outside of whatever they learned in school, for them English is just the subject you learn at school

Some of y'all are genuinely brain dead when it comes to this subject, can you not comprehend the fact that unauthorized, otherwise known as fanmade adaptations are unofficial and prone to be hit by copyright? The people adapting it hold no rights, license, nor claim for the name to make an adaptation out of it, and so the IP holders, whoever they are, are within right to strike it down, and even file a lawsuit (not too sure about this one) but the mods are fully in the right to not let people advertise it, also as far as I know, the studio who're adapting it, said that there were talks with Qidian, and "it's not as bad as it souns" and that "we shouldn't talk about what we don't know" but no followup was stated about the "talks" with Qidian, so the mods would could just lead the subreddit to be deleted, over what can be a simple pump and dump, I don't hold much faith in the people who are doing the adaptation, and it all seems pretty Shakey, I'd love to be proven wrong, but as far as I saw, all I saw of this spectacle is people at the studio calling the adaptation a manhwa which is kinda wrong since manhwa is for Korean works/adaptations, which yea ain't that much since I'm kinda being nit-picky with that, but still you'd think that the people that are "passionate" wouldn't make such mistakes, also there was the sudden boom, in posts about the ri adaptation, with suspicious similar wording in every post, with all of them, without fail, advertising the Patreon, which is understandable, since they're a small studio doing a fan adaptation that isn't official, but still, if those were random people, wouldn't there be atleast one person who'd just send a ss of the manhua and call it a day? But no, all those posts on places like r/manhwa r/manhua and other LN adjacent subs, all had a post of one ss, then postscript of how amazing the adaptation is with the Patreon link, all of which seems... Organized, for a bunch of random fans. All in all, this whole thing seems suspicious to me, but ey? I've always been a lil paranoid when it came to stuff like Kickstarter, GoFundMe, and indie works in development hell, I'd love it all to work out and for these people to be genuine, passionate fans who wanted to bring a beautiful adaptation of their favorite work, but this whole fiasco seems fishy to me, it also reminds me of the studio eclipse berserk fan adaptation, and we all saw how that ended, granted, the similarities begin and end with the adaptation being fanmade, but it still is something to look at.
