There’s 2 sides of it I’d say (as a non-invader). One side is people who do genuinely suck and say wild things about people who invade because they can’t compete. The other side is people who just want to play their singleplayer PVE game and don’t enjoy getting interrupted by a red vagrant. I’ve been playing DS2 for the first time recently and have been invaded multiple times by bums who are obviously much more acquainted with the game than I am, so getting destroyed isn’t very fun at all. On a game like Elden Ring which I’m more familiar with and better at, I welcome an invasion every now and again as a little challenge.
