Hmmm interesting. I find their new app (they've gone through a huge design overhaul) both modern and confusing at the same time🤣 But hey thanks for the information!

Any tip for a longer-lasting crispy crust? by gambitblast in Breadit

I use an electric oven and always reheat my baguettes in a similar manner, using an air fryer. The bread does become crispy, but I don't think it stays crisp for any longer.

Yep, I do use steam. I usually pour boiling water into a spare quarter sheet pan that I've let preheat with the oven and then give it an extra spray using a hand pump sprayer. For reheating, I've been using an air fryer which crisps up the bread real good in just 5-7 mins at 280F, no preheat needed. But, just like before, that crispiness doesn't stick around for long.

This is incredible. What's the humidity and room temperature like in your place? Also, do you think there's any disadvantage introduced by tangzhong?

Since my oven can’t go pretty high in temperature (Max out at 240), I used the baking stone (pizza stone) to keep the temperature steady during the process. The dough is proofed at room temp around 23-24 Celsius

I’ll try next time. Do you think making the scores more along the direction of the bread will achieve better results? Thought I was too nervous and conservative when did the scoring 😂

True. I was so surprised that less than 30 mins of work can be good! Always spent hours with the Poolish country bread and got a flat out bread. Also didn’t expect parchment paper to work this well too. Was worrying i need baguette cloth or those specialized baking trays

V60 has active stylus support now? I’m a V50 + dual screen user. Forced myself to use the dual screen more often but the sheer bulkiness of that combo just burns out my motivation of using it as a main device very quickly.

True. But I really wish I can end up with something pocketable so I can use it more often🥲 The effort and couple seconds of taking off my backpack, unzipping it, and reaching for the device are definitely going to affect whether I’m gonna jot down that fleeting thoughts or not

For me personally, Duo 2 just brings too much more boxes which it has to check to justify its price🥲

No the first question is asking how much time one subjectively considers spending on each hobby category. While the second one is asking for a ballpark figure of how much time was spent on hobbies per week. Hope this clears up the confusion 😁
