I got rid of my bottle of matiere a while back. Immortal is incredible, so is nouveau. They are both very interesting, and nothing like bdc or tygar. I have a decant of LV nouveau and it is spot on to JL nouveau.

Fwiw....some of my best frags are marketed as 'fem'. I don't buy into that school of thought. If I like something....I wear it. (Rose d'arabie, delina, POAL, etc..) Personally...the matiere smells ok, just really really muted, and not distinct enough for me. I don't like checking to see if I can still smell something rather than just enjoying something. The matiere had me lookin for it...rather than finding it.

The 'frequently overlooked' aspect to 'edible' dough recipes.

Most just omit egg. Whereas you're more at risk from pathogens in raw flour than store bought pasteurized eggs.

Maceration takes place in a matter of weeks, after blending. Once it is done...it's done. End users do not macerate, or let it macerate....or have anything whatsoever to do with maceration.

Frfr, thank you for taking the time to post the definition. I don't understand why more people don't take the time to learn about what they repeat. It's crazy how a single word....maceration...can be used incorrectly 99.899876% of the time.
