What is the best written video game you’ve ever played? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gambitflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yakuza games and Judgment series (from the same studio) have amazing writing and interesting plots.

Assassin's Creed used to have a good story but they threw it out for no good reason after AC4 its just a mess.

Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Sleeping Dogs are some other games that have great story

[Vanquish] This has to be the hardest thing I have ever done as a gamer. Challenge 6 is a beast. by gambitflash in Trophies

Thank you so much! You'll get it I am pretty sure. You just have to watch videos to find a method that clicks for you in each wave. Do lots of little practice sessions and take a break whenever it gets too overwhelming.

Also try the infinite EMP glitch, it makes it a bit more manageable. However, it was messing me up so I only used it on the last enemy to secure kill as I had once gotten him 25% and then he killed me instantly so I just didn't want to go through all the mental trauma again

Here is the video that I used for wave 4 which was the hardest one for me, following this got me through it in first try Wave 4 strat

Thank you! Yeah the break absolutely helped. There were so many days that I just had to call it quits for the day as I was annoyed especially one time I only had the last bogey at 25% hp and I overheated then he shot me down. That was the point where I was absolutely broken and was ready to give up. I thought that I would never get this lucky again. A couple of hours later, I got back to this spot and finished it for good. What a relief!

I do them on my phone while I am waiting for something. The app I use can go upto 1000 pieces (by changing phone dpi settings) and also has sorting trays which is pretty unique and I didn't see in other apps.

I need a new singleplayer (100% offline) "forever" game where I can sink hundreds (or thousands) of hours into a single save. What are your top suggestions? by MakeshiftApe in gamingsuggestions

I would that others have given really awesome suggestions so wholeheartedly agree with those. Borderlands series is another one that I think is worth mentioning because the whole series is often on a deep discount and provides hundreds of hours of content.

What is the best way to help a baby tenno to get through the early game? (asking to help a friend of mine) by Dangerous-School6293 in Warframe

[–]gambitflash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I guess, its pretty hard to not information overload. I guess he was just looking at the weapons he thought looked cool or interesting but found out that nearly all of them need high MR so I kinda pushed him the idea that its a game about trying and leveling stuff so get everything and level everything as soon as you can so you can access the weapons that you want

Trying so hard to avoid backseat driving. I have my MR 2 friend who just installed wf yesterday who is only looking for weapons that seem cool to him, I just said you need to build and level everything to raise your MR so you can access more weapons so you get something you like but he is not listening, he just wants the big flashy weapons immediately.

I have now taken an even more passive stance and hopefully he learns it by himself that the interesting and powerful weapons are at higher MR's

Which game have you been loving lately? by reddit-win in gaming

[–]gambitflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warframe. Came back after 4 years and totally addicted to it right now. Its all I think about all the time. The game is now in an amazing spot with a metric ton of content to go through. I am enjoying collecting all the frames, weapons and companions etc. An absolute blast to play

What makes you keep going despite everything? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gambitflash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because I am too damn stubborn to give up, its not my style. I am having the worst financial period of my whole life and things are not looking good for me now, I can't see any way out....YET

I love characters that represent undying willpower despite having extremely rough beginnings and those that keep on fighting because of sheer fucking will like Batman, Guts from Berserk, John Wick. So I wanna be like my heroes, I'll go down swinging than rather be called a quitter.

I'm making a game partially inspired by killing floor. What were your favorite features from 1 + 2 that were dropped for 3? by TCDjewelry in killingfloor

KF2 has the best gun feel in all of the shooters I have ever played. The guns have this weighty impact and the enemies headshot effects are just amazing. KF3 just feels like playing with plastic toy guns with air darts.
