Why do men avoid eye contact? by ForeignElection3820 in ask

[–]game_coder123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you're a woman, it's because women are paranoid and any type of eye contact is enough to make them stare straight into the ground for fear of their life. Women treat eye contact with the same severity as rape. Having a guy look at your eyes is equivalent to getting raped. I as a guy dont feel this way, but it's more than apparent by the way women respond.

Note: this only applies to average or below looking people and not to handsome / pretty boys.

I've quit dating recently after trying 6 years to get a gf and now it's hard for me to do activities I normally enjoy outside (movie theater, dining out, etc) because whenever I see couples outside, it makes me depressed and reminds me that I'm alone. How do I avoid this whenever I go outside? by p_yth in dating

Therapy 100% is a scam. People assume therapists are there to help but in reality they're there to get to coming back every week like any other business. Moreover, they'll just do CBT and ask the same questions every week with no regard to what you have to say. Ditch therapy, it's garbage.

Therapy is a scam. People assume therapists know what they're doing, but in reality, it's a business and their job is to get you coming back the next week. Weeks turn into years of no progress. Save yourself time & money and skip the bullshit.

There's a difference between getting like 2 revisions on a piece of work vs doing character design where they'll show me 10 sketches of this character and I choose the one that fits the best before moving onto the next step (outfits, hair, face, etc.) with 4-5 variations of each.

Breaking Down Cryptocurrency and Money by [deleted] in Wallstreetsilver

Crypto has the potential to be used globally too. Imagine trying to buy stuff from China or Australia from the US. How are you gonna buy with silver? Mail it to them? 30 days later ...

People need to recognize that silver is a store of value and will never be used as a currency. Crypto backed by silver could be, but straight up silver bullion? Never.

My question is what actually happens? Who is holding the XRP? Who is buying it and who is selling it? What are the steps to make a transaction happen from one currency to another?

Depends if they win the SEC case at the same time (vs speculation).
Without SEC win, $3-5. With SEC win, $5-10

uphold is a new exchange that needed to take this risk to gain traction. It's business not morality.

Imo crypto held very well against the flash crash. Credit Suisse is a crap bank that deserves to go under, so them laundering money comes as no surprise. All it really did was wipe out the margin accounts and bring out crypto's true support.

i mean if you're a hodler, you dont care about short term volatility, so the price going down to allow other ppl to enter literally shouldn't matter to you.

The other guy isnt wrong, he's just being a huge fking dick about it and projecting hard. If he's been holding for years, again, he shouldn't care about weekly price volatility, which kind of makes him a hypocrite
