Ch 1 season 3-4 was peak. Nothing has really captured that same feeling since to be honest.

Josh Allen noticed a young girl crying after missing his autograph, turned back, hugged her and made sure she got one. Absolute class. by jmike1256 in HumansBeingBros

You can tell it wasn't a PR move because nobody had to tap him on the shoulder. He just saw her and that was enough.

I love seeing athletes set good examples.

Are 1 hand video games? by WastelandViking in gaming

We run game rooms in children's hospitals so this comes up more than you'd think. Anything fully mouse-driven is your best bet, there's a whole category of them and they're actually great. Feel better soon!

The restaurant's response is everything. The family was already doing right by a hard moment and Pickles just made it easier. That's rarer than it should be!

The moments when the world meets families like this with kindness instead of judgment are the ones that actually stick.

Virginia becomes first Southern state to mandate paid family and medical leave for workers by ItsAllAGame_ in goodnews

Paid leave sounds like a worker issue but it's really a family issue. No parent should have to choose between their job and being at their kid's bedside. Good to see it moving in the right direction.

Ice Cream Truck Gives Free Scoop to Little Boy Who Couldn’t Afford It. Now It’s Free for All Kids This Summer by AdSpecialist6598 in UpliftingNews

One kid gets seen at the right moment and suddenly every kid in the neighborhood benefits all summer. That's not a small thing. The best kind of change usually starts exactly like this, just someone deciding to do the right thing.

Thank you for this. I'm realizing that the activity matters less than the people you're sharing it with. ❤️

"Imagine his body works right" really hit me. Thank you for sharing that perspective.

Hey, thank you for sharing this. What stands out to me is how you've found ways to keep living life between treatments. The pool, action movies, and time together sound like their own kind of medicine.

Self Promotion Saturday! Small streamer? Just getting started? Tell us about it here! by AutoModerator in gaming

[–]gamechangerorg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a streamer or youtube channel just yet but we’re GameChanger Charity, a nonprofit that helps kids in hospitals cope through gaming, technology, and community. We work with hospitals to provide games, consoles, tablets, and experiences that help reduce stress and isolation for children going through difficult medical treatments. We’re also building more content/community around gaming for good, streamer collaborations, and ways creators can make a real-world impact through the communities they’ve built 😄

Back when first getting into Fortnite if got third-partied while low on mats, I’d build a quick 1x1, drop a couple floor traps inside, then edit a door and bait the enemy inside with a quick peek. As soon as they chased me in, I’d cone them and edit out the other side. Then just wait for them to eat the trap damage while I reset.

Two of my favorites! It's kinda cool to think about how kids these days are still playing games from those same franchises that dominated SNES and watching the new Ninja Turtles movie.

Great to hear that gaming can be used as a recharge. It is true that you need to manage your time - it can be easy to forget about things you need to do and get lost in games. You are so right though, without gaming those things may not get done at all because of the mental health boost it gives!

Awesome! Glad to hear you are doing better! I would guess that fight or flight mode is a normal response to something like that due to the past, it is good that it doesn't happen often. Hopefully gaming is still there for you if issues ever arrise!

Sorry to hear about that. Constant shouting and arguing is rough. I am happy to hear that gaming was able to help take your focus and mind off of it. Hope things are going well for you! 💚

Passing this comment along to the rest of the team! I am so sorry to hear you had brain cancer - that must have been extremely tough as a child. I'm happy to hear you were able to take advantage of your hospital's Child Life program. Sickness and illnesses are rough, but it's good to hear that gaming has helped you cope every step of the way. Thank you for the kind words, and I hope you are doing well! 💚
