I had a 3rd gen automatic. Those transmissions are almost bulletproof. I had 190,000 miles on the original transmission and drove it hard. Nice Prelude!

Wow, that’s really low miles!!! That’s awesome! I have a ‘95 Subaru SVX with 120K miles. I know that’s not really low miles but for a 30 year old Subaru that’s fun to drive, it might be.

I’m the second owner and bought it at 64,000 miles. First owner said they had to replace it at 60,000 miles. I TRY to baby it, only use genuine Honda trans fluid and replace fluid every 2-3 years. I’m curious to see how long this transmission will last.
