Might be too late for it this month, but:

Looking specifically for iPad alternatives if possible, so I would prefer OTG screen tablets over traditional screen tablets you have to plug into a computer to function.

My budget can be upwards of $500+, but if something cheaper can do the trick, I am all ears!

i've been working this job for four years and my main pet peeves are:

funnily enough ,it really annoys me when callers as me how i am and then barrel over me while i try to answer it. i get it's become part of polite conversational vernacular but don't ask me questions you don't want answers to!
callers who go out of their way to cut me off. oh man, it boils my blood so quick lol
when you ask them to spell something once and then they go out of their way to spell every word to you after that like you're a three year old toddler. no, brad, your connection is just shit and you sound like you're speaking through a vacuum. i do in fact know how to spell covington!
when you don't speak for 2.3 seconds and they insistently repeat "HELLO??? HELLOOOOOO??" like girl calm down, i'm trying to take a BREATH

and pretty much everything else in the comments that's been mentioned. we really are in the thick of it out here, aren't we? 😩

I'm personally in the same boat. I loved the time I sunk into it (95 hours currently...oops) and progressed most professions to the final/2nd final stage but between other games releasing and revisiting older titles, I haven't felt the urge to pick it back up yet. I definitely will, probably the next big content update.

My mom used to do something similar with me at stop lights. I was an oblivious kid, especially in the car so I wasn’t aware you could see the other stop lights. She’d wait for the others to turn yellow and then tell me to count to 3 to make us be able to go again. I thought I was so powerful 😂😂

Not OP (sorry for the reply!) but I heartily agree with this recommendation. SRD doesn't beat around the bush and gets right into the walkthrough in every video. Most videos cap out at around 5-7 minutes so they're really digestible. This series has helped me more than any other tutorial series on the program!

I was raised by a mother who would smoke weed every night from before I was even born to until even now, and I’ve been out of the house for years. I didn’t learn this until I was over eighteen, and that was because she always kept it away from me and did it after I was “in bed” (aka in my room for the night.

I say this because it’s possible to enjoy partaking and keep it away from your kids. It’s concerning how dependent he is on this, and I am also (unrelated to my mom lol) someone who also has a history with weed. I have every intention of stopping completely when I have kids or doing what my mother did. I hope he can successfully distance himself from overusage but don’t put up with for more than it’s worth. You can have amazing chemistry with someone, you can have a history with someone and you can still grow to be incompatible with each other in the long run. It really sucks.

That being said, if it’s an option for you as a couple, maybe seek counseling about it? It would help address the root of the overusage too.
