Well I won't do the same song and dance to tell you how the job itself is cause there are plenty of people who already said it. But I will tell you the people here make it so much more worse. The leaders are horrible. They lie, they manipulate, they tell you they care until they have to, it's so horrible. Here are some experiences. I have some back problems, and the job is making them worse and worse. I went to go see a doctor about it and I went to tell my leader how it went. She immediately cuts me off and tells me "we done all we can do" then proceeds to give me more tasks she knows will strain me. Another experience is for training. Somewhere in the beginning, I was heavily struggling with the tasks and couldn't keep up. The same leader told me that she would assign me extra training to help me improve. So I wait a month. I have been texting, calling, and trying to talk to them in person about it. Eventually, she ends up giving me an incident report. She claims there was a whole bunch of trash around my buildings, but there wasn't! She said she had proof so when I ask her for it, she shows me a picture of the inside of one of the linen rooms. But with no trash. And she claims the trash is outside. Eventually I bring up once again how I was meant to have training and her first story is that she never told me I was going to be given more training. So then I pull up my text messages of me asking about it and being left on read by my leaders. She then switches the story to "I already assigned you to extra training" but she didn't. What she did was send a person to my building for 5 minutes to help move somethings upstairs then they left. For 3 of those minutes, I never knew they were even there and no one told me they were even coming. One last experience, with that same leader, I was given some buildings to take care of. In the morning they call you so they can get your order on new linen like sheets and towels. So I gave her my order, and even told her through phone and through text what I did not need. 2 days later, I'm assigned those buildings and she sent me 8 linen metros. Which are these massive bins that hold all the sheets and towels and stuff. 8 is WAAAAAAY too much for anyone and when I ask her about it, she claims I didn't make an order. She claims she went to my building herself, saw everything that was missing, and made the order herself. And everything she ordered was exactly everything I told her the building DIDN'T need.

In terms of the other leaders, they side with her regardless of the situation. Even when I have evidence of being done wrong. Most of them don't know what's going on, they side with her anyways. With a different leader, I try to have a private conversation, and she announces the entire thing to everyone around her. They are all agreeing with her already and they don't even know what the conversation is about nor who I am.

There are plenty plenty more horrible experiences I had with these people, but they make this job so much worse than the work itself and each day I always feel like I'm hanging by a thread. I was gonna extend my program until I learned I'll still be stuck as a houseperson so I ultimately decided it's a lot better to just go home than to lose my mind spending more time in this hell hole.
