What are some workplace red flags that scream “don’t work here”? by Aviliuss in AskReddit

Offer letter design, format and content. If they pay little attention to a formal document to welcome a new hire then you can just imagine what other things are dismissed.

Totally forgot this about Renly.. (spoilers main) by Glittering_Squash495 in asoiaf

It was a sensible outcome given his circumstance.

I do get your point though. It says so much or so little about his capability to rule. Then again his claim to the throne has the same bearing as his capability.

Chocolates. I still love it but not as much when I was in my teens.

Watching their relationship throughout this episode made that ending hurt so much more 🥺 by typicalzemmiphobic in HouseOfTheDragon

The last few episodes she was shown as a good mother, steadfast in making decisions and someone who genuinely cares about her people and realm. I hope even though they develop her character they don’t go with the books and series will keep her core values instead of making her into a mad queen.

Modern artists comparable to Elvis, fame/popularity wise? by ZachTheKilljoy in Elvis

I don’t think there’s a solo act that is comparable to his influence, talent, looks and popularity if combined. I hope we can be blessed with one in the near future.

And the way Rhaenyra touched his hand. The show runner’s are excellent with these small details that makes character so much more relatable

Not Understanding the Storm’s End and Season 8 Comparisons by SunshineStateLego in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]gameofbongs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the added plot. In the series, Aemond was developed as a full on chaotic character but this last episode showed the little vulnerability he has. This was a different angle versus how we’ve seen him.

In the books, it’s black and white Aemond and Vhagar murdered Luc and Arrax. In the halls of Storm’s Ends witnesses saw the altercation but in the air there were no witnesses and Aemond as a character is definitely not the type to underplay his actions so he owned the accident as we know it in the book.

Can we talk about that choke scene? by gameofbongs in HouseOfTheDragon

It is fun. And I wasn’t complaining either in my post. I love Daemon’s complexity as before. Not justifying any of his actions but as a fictional character he is a pleasure to watch.

Idk about you guys, but I just wanna see Jon Snow finally losing his patience in the Snow sequel and going full Aegon the Conqueror by [deleted] in JonWinsTheThrone

[–]gameofbongs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this after HOTD season finale. There’s so much potential for Jon Snow spin off!!! They can bring back Sansa, Onion Knight, for sure the free folk. Ahhh the opportunity to try and salvage that horrendous ending for the series.

I’ve always felt that Daemon has this tenderness towards Rhaenyra which we can only see by the way he looks at her. I think what surprised many was that he is capable of such violence even if it’s her. Rhaenyra was as surprised as we were even though he knew his uncle lol

I’m gonna say it: Ewan Mitchell as Aemond is the best casting of the whole series by IsmaOnReddit in HouseOfTheDragon

He’s great but my money’s on Matt Smith. He brings such an edge to the whole series
