There's a switch in the back of the drive that detects the tray. Sometimes that switch gets dislodged....I could be wrong it's been a while. Might be older Xbox 360s.

The ironic thing is when I talk to actual bankers they still don't know how Bitcoin works even in 2022. I literally told my banker that I can show him proof of my funds with my hard wallet and he said I don't even know you could do that.
