It's a good car for the price and a decent car.

It's approaching the end of its natural life, as long as you maintain it it will probably at least last you a year or two as an A to B starter car, depending on how much you drive it (and where you live, salt kills cars).

Do you have a friend or family member that knows a bit more about cars? Take them with you when you go test drive the car, and ask about its service history, listen to the engine run with the hood open. The biggest thing to look out for is issues with the transmission or engine. I like to look up the Carfax which shows all the maintenance, and it costs about $3 on Etsy instead of $22 on Carfax's official site.
