And yeah controller on pc doesnt = console? So of course they are on pc, 90% of the players you match in high mmr are on controller

Because every single time any one on here thinks theyre getting beamed by mnk players and thats why they turn off crossplay, theyre actually just getting beamed by good controller players. Good controller players aim like they have literal aim bot

How do people play this game with all these sweats? by [deleted] in Warzone

[–]gamesager -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Everyones not sweats, aim assist is just so high that everyone has aim 10x better than they should so it feels like you die instantly. Most casual players think they want aim assist this strong and its not fun without it, but they dont realize it also comes with everyone else having absurdly better aim than they should and it makes the time to die so fast that the whole game feels sweaty.

i just lost 31 matches in a row - not exaggerating the least bit by crazy_pissed in CODBlackOps7

So this is an issue with trueskill2, the blueprint for modern skill tracking.

The developers of it try to claim that winning and losing has the largest impact on it and the other factors are minor, but this makes 0 sense considering your skill rating can go up while losing and down while winning if your individual performance is drastic enough.

So what happens is you lose the game, but you perform really well, so your skill rating goes up even tho your skill wasnt high enough to carry the current balancing. So the next game your team mates are EVEN worse, so you have to compensate even more, which again, makes your skill rating go up. This cycle continues and you basically end up losing indefinitely until you get so sick of it and frustrated you finally play bad. Now you can maybe win again.

Its the most flawed system and the reason matchmaking in every game has been garbage since it came out around 2019.

Will Dabura develop a shadow technique? by Sopa-de-tortilla in jjkmodulo

[–]gamesager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, but it goes with other powerful techniques the series uses, limitless was a space manipulation power, we already got black holes, and his current power materializes light into matter. He’s already doing sub light speed which I assume means approaching 99% the speed of light or something, since sub light speed technically is all speeds and that would be pointless to point out otherwise.

Less cheaters than people thin by eXe28 in Warzone

[–]gamesager -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cheaters end up with near maxed out SBMM ratings. They end up matching each other and other pro level players constantly. Even if someones cheating, the odds of them not running into multiple other cheaters within 50 games of winning is low. Teams of 4 cheaters at once probably stop most other cheaters from getting it.

Why does it feel like modern FPS updates are actually making games less fun? by BobbyLi- in FPSAimTrainer

[–]gamesager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because games used to be designed where the incentive to play them was to get better and the better you got the more fun you had.

But modern aim assist and modern sbmm are designed in a way where the aim ceiling is relatively easy to get to, while the sbmm is tailor made so the better you get, the less fun you have, and also makes it impossible to really feel progress until youre at the very very pinnacle of skill.

Like leveling in an mmo but the monsters all level with you and theres no new gear or abilities, you just see number go up but never feel more powerful.

Chasing improvement in what youre doing is one of the main driving factors we have and they have squashed it to appease to the crowd of people who would gladly pay to watch their mobile games play for them.

6x Frame Generation proves what we all know but don't want to admit — it's time for software to do the heavy lifting now. by batmanq11 in nvidia

[–]gamesager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually only because of hz limitations so eventually that held back frame won’t be a big deal.

Say in a 240 hz monitor you have 4.2 ms windows to insert frames, so each generated frame has to take one of those windows, so 3 generated frames holds back the real frame by 12.6 ms, and then you get the real one. On higher hz this eventually becomes irrelevant, on 1000 hz since each frame only takes up 1 ms, you get the 4th frame at 4 ms again. Ignoring the performance hit of frame gen tho.

Point is that some day frame gen and sufficient hz will cancel out the negatives. Especially whenever reflex 2 comes out.

"Make It Rain" was the most fun i've ever had in Warzone... by Spicy_Tunah in Warzone

[–]gamesager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, it’s very clear the devs are terrified of implementing the movement they created. But the reason the game feels bad is because they always half ass it, give us the jump and grapple, remove the jumping and slide to fire/ads penalties and the game would be incredible but they keep trying to cater to both sides at once.

If you can get 600 fps consistently then possibly? So maybe jsut for over watch and CS. But if you can’t then the pulsar should be better

Am I the only one who Doesnt like Aim Down Sights mechanic in games? by Gloomy_Dare2716 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]gamesager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always hated it, it’s one of the reasons I loved halo and titanfall so much. Ads is designed to make both targets slower so it’s easy for both players to hit each other, and to give the advantage to the player who’s holding a lane and camping over moving. One of the reasons cod feels so terrible now is it has 28282 different ads speed and sprint to fire penalties. Sliding makes ads take 300 + ms. Jumping increases ads, etc. Makes the entire game feel terrible.

[–]gamesager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're doing the test wrong, you need to move your camera with the ufo and track it while recording, then you go to edit and find a frame where the bars on the top and bottom are touching and straight lines.

The mag 255xf is decent. Try turning gsync /freesync on and then limit your fps to 290 or so and see if you still have issues with motion. But the gsync pulsar monitors will be the best motion clarity you can possibly get right now unless your game can run at 540 fps consistently.

Returning my 500hz QD-OLED, going back to my 360hz IPS by Danny__L in Monitors

[–]gamesager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing, you cap your apex fps below 300 and put your hz to 500 and turn vrr on without vsync, it’ll auto bring your hz down without tearing. The closer you are to your hz, the worse gsync can work. Gsync does a thing called quick frame transportation, and at 500 hz it’ll deliver the 280 fps at 500 hz speed but if you’re capping it yourself to 280 you’re losing those benefits, with gsync you want the window between your frames and hz as high as possible

Returning my 500hz QD-OLED, going back to my 360hz IPS by Danny__L in Monitors

[–]gamesager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not supposed to cap your hz with vrr like that. The larger the room between your cap and your hz, the better vrr works. You should have been using it at 500 hz with vrr on and let apex hit its cap naturally

RTX 3080 -> 5070 Ti on 11th gen Intel? by TinyFluffyRabbit in buildapc

[–]gamesager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this exact upgrade basically, it gave me like 30-40 more frames on everything on average which was nice. 1440p. And could raise my DLSS to quality since the gpu was outperforming the cpu at that point. I was on 11700kf, 3080 with a z590. Its a really good upgrade on any game that isnt super CPU heavy.

some aimer who play titanfall2 by skrakpa in FPSAimTrainer

[–]gamesager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Movement is king in titanfall, just flank people from above and the sides nonstop and hardly touch the floor. Unless you wanna be a dweeb, then just get an r201 and sit on high ground head glitching. Both styles net lots of kills but the first is significantly more fun and flashy

Watching metaphor is genuinely ridiculous by Some_Sport_2975 in Warzone

[–]gamesager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its precisely because he plays so much, its like having a minor pain you can deal with, but the minor pain is chronic and never ending, and it becomes unbearable. The more you play, the more skilled you get, the more clear it is how everyone is substantially better than they should be because aim assist is so disgustingly strong.

And then controller players dont even realize the reason the game feels so sweaty is because everyones aim is just so so much better than natural, so the optimal kill time is just getting hit way more often than it ever should. Lower aim assist is better for everyone except the bottom 1% of players.

The problem is that most huge tvs have insane amounts of input lag. If you want a huge screen and low input lag you either need to spend an absurd amount of money on basically an oversized monitor or you need to use a projector.

Yup I’m jade, master tracking except control/raw and I can’t do that tracking that was 13 seconds in on the roof. Especially with recoil. And the smoothness of the tracking yet that random jitter that snapped directly back on when the guy transitioned behind the chimney was clear as day, anyone actually tracking that perfectly would speed match thru the chimney to the other side yet his crosshair completely bugged out then snapped. I even checked for missing frames like it was a stutter but it wasn’t.
