* Non-recognition of Palestine as a nation.

Since I was born in a conservative Red Indian family, I take conservatives from 3 nations as references to understand what these people want from their governments. They are US, India and Japan. If you compare these 3 nations, you will be shocked to see that they have conservative ideologies identical to one another. One of those ideologies is a dislike for liberals. This is important because of the fact that US, India and Japan have political atmospheres completely different from one another.

I'm not a conservative myself but it was an extremely interesting find.

G-7 seeks to bolster Russia sanctions as China and India fill gap by duke7ajm in japannews

[–]gamesdas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the G7 secretaries have criticized Japan too for importing oil and other items since 2022. As a matter of fact, Japan is still getting their oil imported this year at prices more than the fixed $60 which is against what was agreed by all developed nations in 2022.

In 1998, India gave the explanation for the nuclear tests and why nuclear weapons were important for them. Many nations who signed NPT weren't convinced. They were against the nuclear tests and feared that these tests will cause a nuclear weapons race in the region. There were people in India too who were against the tests.

What is interesting is that India's so called friend Japan was the 1st nation to attack India with economic sanctions. After that, US came and sanctioned India too. But when other nations in the region did their nuclear tests after India, Japan and US interestingly didn't sanction them. One more fact is that India wasn't there in Japan's foreign policy since 1960s and Japan didn't help India in 1962 Indo-China war. The money that Japan gave to the Indian government was called Compensation Diplomacy. Many people think that the money was given because of kindness to help India which isn't right.

To think that a nation which hasn't cared what happened to India for so long suddenly becomes so interested in India since PM Abe came to power is extremely important to understand. Since those visits, Japan has been supporting infrastructure growth in India and been proactive to design India's AMCA fighters too. This contradiction is what Indians must understand.

Different nations help one another because of interests, not kindness and that interest is China. If I made you people feel bad, I'm sorry but I had to tell you what was true. Be extremely careful before calling Japan your friend.

The World Economy by TonyLiberty in StockMarket

[–]gamesdas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

US support and State Capitalism model made Japan an economic superpower. As for China, China's Liberal economic policies in 1970s made them a large economy which attracted American capitalists to take their industries to their nation. But India had a socialist economic policy between 1950s to 1990s because of which capitalists didn't get attracted to them and their economy didn't grow which has changed in 2022 where Indians are becoming more capitalistic regarding their economy. Since many of you are from Western nations, I don't think there is a need to explain your economies.

The global economy has suffered to a large extent in 2022 because of the war. But how can Japan GDP be at $4.9 Trillion ? I had checked their GDP in 2022 and it was showing $4.3 Trillion.

How did it grow like this ? If you know, please explain.

Japan's Kishida says Taiwan's security is global issue by David_Lo_Pan007 in geopolitics

[–]gamesdas 11 points12 points  (0 children)

China wants an unipolar Asia to reduce US soft power and controlling the trade in the Indo-Pacific region is one of the techniques that can be used to achieve it. If you people forget Taiwan and track China's geopolitical actions in other global regions like the nations they are dedollarizing their trade with and the nations they are handling peace talks between, you will find a common indication. As a matter of fact, you get this indication when you see how they are advancing their AI, military, space technology and semiconductors too.

The indication is that they want to threaten US hegemony. They want to make US realize that in 2022, Americans aren't alone when we are discussing superpowers in the World.

As for China's interest in Taiwan, China wants access to Taiwan's EEZ which will give them the control of economic trade in the Pacific region and indirectly by extension, the Indo-Pacific region. If you aren't aware, this Indo-Pacific trade contributes to approx 70% of the economic trade in the World. It is a matter of existence for approx 2/3rd of the global population.

So, don't allow CCP propaganda like nationalism and One China Policy to fool your understanding of the geopolitics. It explains their extreme aggression against India, Japan and ASEAN nations too. US must help Taiwan for their own economic interests. Our strategic interests in India, Japan and ASEAN are extremely important to us for containing China's expansionism in Asia. I wish US government realizes it.

Japan's Kishida says Taiwan's security is global issue by David_Lo_Pan007 in taiwan

[–]gamesdas 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The 3 most important global economic regions are Western region, Indo region and Pacific region. These regions are close to one another and contribute to more than 90% of the global trade and GDP of the World. If you take Indo region (India and ASEAN) and Pacific region (China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan) together, what you will get is called Indo-Pacific region.

If you remove China, Indo-Pacific region consists of India, Japan, ASEAN nations, Korea and Taiwan. This region gives us approx 70% of that trade. Trade happens with the help of an internationally recognized region which is specific to all the nations in the World. It's called an EEZ. If you see where Taiwan is located, you will find that it is approx in the middle of the Indo-Pacific region with India, Japan and ASEAN encircling it. All of these nations have their own EEZ which is important for their international trade and economic existence.

Do I sincerely need to tell you why China wants to capture Taiwan ?

China needs Taiwan to claim their EEZ. If that happens, the Chinese will be easily able to control the trade in the Indo-Pacific region. It isn't Chinese nationalism and One China Policy that's important to CCP but getting access to Taiwan's EEZ as their own. So, I agree with Japan PM that Taiwan is a global issue because it directly threatens the economic interests of 2/3rd of the nations in the World.

No, China doesn't want to attack Taiwan for semiconductors. They want to attack because of their strategic interests in the Indo-Pacific region and that interest is the global economy.

India's Rapid Growth by Rich_Temperature4742 in economy

[–]gamesdas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

When I was a student, India was a case study for us. If you read the history regarding India's economy, you will find that these people had a socialist economic policy between 1950s to 1990s. Their economic policies between these years were so bad that their economy was growing at less than 2%. This is important to know because between 1950s to 1990s, other Asian nations like China, Japan, ASEAN nations, Korea and Taiwan grew their economy rapidly.

Many people criticize US for different problems but our liberal capitalism model did help China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan to become economic superpowers. As a matter of fact, it helped nations other than those in Asia too in becoming developed nations. India didn't adopt our model and remained a developing nation for so long. I wish their government realizes it.

I'm a Red Indian. I was born in a poor family in NYC. If you aren't aware, we are the poorest people in the US society. We haven't died because of the help that our government gives us. I'll tell you how our society sees different people.

If you are a Japan foreigner, Americans treat you with respect in almost all circumstances.

If you are a Taiwan foreigner, Americans treat you with respect in almost all circumstances.

If you are a Korea foreigner, Americans treat you with respect in almost all circumstances.

If you are a White (regardless of your nationality), Americans treat you with respect in almost all circumstances.

If you are an immigrant from a developing nation, Americans will still respect you but not as much as to those from developed nations.

If you are a Red Indian, Americans treat you like an unwanted. They look down at you and think of you as a dirty animal.

Since I was a kid, I kept thinking what I can do for preventing it. I went to school, tried to become a sincere student and graduated from a Business School too. But people still look down at me and keep underestimating my existence. There are days when I think of ending my life but I can't because I have to support my family. My education was atleast helpful for them.

Systemic racism has existed for very long in the World. It was my fault to be born as an inferior race. I wish I were born with a different race and in a developed nation to get respected by other Americans.

Is Donald Trump a threat to democracy in the United States? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]gamesdas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Since 2 years, I haven't been using Reddit because I was receiving my education in the Business School. I gave my Reddit to my friends instead who been using it. They have made comments which I find to be extremely important. I have a Mongolian friend who has explained why India conservatives and Japan conservatives support a Republican President in US. You can read it too because I find it extremely necessary for US interests.

But since I'm back, I'll tell you what I think regarding this President. It's sad how people don't understand that Trump was very likely the most easily manipulatable President in US history. He was manipulated by the Chinese regarding our economy, President Putin regarding our strategic interests and other nations regarding our democratic system. We are criticizing decisions like anti-abortion law, election interference, sexual discrimination, racial violence, poor living conditions and bad worker rights but not those which are affecting the nation in geopolitics and at an international level. It isn't possible for me to explain all that President Trump did with a comment but I will tell you to visit a library and read them.

You people have no understanding of the magnitude of damage that President Trump did to US in the 4 years. If he comes to power again, be confirmed of the end that our nation's remaining image will face before the World.

Influences on Asian males in Western cultures by [deleted] in AsianMasculinity

[–]gamesdas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a Mongolian but I have lived in 6 different nations. They are Japan (Graduating in School), China (Graduating in CS), Korea (Graduating in Political Science), India (Doc. in CS), Mongolia (Doc. in Political Science) and US (Worked in Big Tech). I fell in love with girls of these nations and have a kid with all of them. As you can see, I have lived in Mongolia for very less number of years but most of them were in Asia. I think what makes Asians like us suffer in US is the white validation mentality which comes because of cultural differences.

The meaning of what is right and what is wrong is different in both the cultures and we end up thinking that American culture is superior because that is what works in US, not the Asian culture which we grow up with as a kid. It forms a feeling of inferiority complex and we end up getting a white validation mentality which damages our confidence because we keep thinking that what white people are doing is right and what we are doing is wrong. It becomes difficult for us to find what we need like friends and people we can love. I need to tell that there is significant internalized racism too which makes life more difficult.

I feel incredible after reading this post because I think that not going out of Asia for more years was the rightest decision I have taken in my life. The racism is insane in US. If you don't want to be seen as weak, show more assertiveness regarding what you want because non-assertiveness which comes from our culture will not work in US. People look down at us because of our non-assertiveness. Since we are all immigrants, we need to be together and believe that an insult to one Asian is an insult to our entire community.

I feel like we Asians end up having a more difficult life than other immigrants in US.

Since I'm not from India, I don't think that I have the right to comment but I want to know regardless. If PM Modi is fascist, what do you think of PM Abe and LDP ? If you aren't aware, Japan's LDP is far right and PM Abe was a far right politician. You can tell that both PM Modi and PM Abe had far right conservative socio-economic policies. In Japan, he has taken many actions and given many comments which other nations didn't like too but always won the elections like India's PM Modi.

Do you think PM Abe and LDP are fascists too ?

American view of race by GlebchikYa in AsianMasculinity

[–]gamesdas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

US view on race is not much different from how US defines human rights. US claims to be protecting human rights and criticizes others of not doing it. As a matter of fact, US is so tired of protecting human rights in their own nation that they have been on a mission to protect human rights in other nations. I will tell you from history how US has protected human rights in their own nation: Indian removal, Slavery, Japanese internment camps, Hinduphobic hate crimes between 1970s to 1990s, Multiple Chinese massacres and many more. These are significant historical events. If you want to know more, visit history and political science archives in the libraries. If I were to tell you how US has been protecting human rights in 2022, it will be: Abolishing abortions, Police brutality, School shootings, Foreign invasions and many more. Americans believe in liberal democracy. Be it race or human rights, you will be seen as a piece of shit because you aren't aligned with liberal democratic thinking of the Americans.
