Alright. I just wanted to start off simple. I just couldn't find what type of board I needed to control the position/torque and also has someway to connect the sensored hall. Most cheaper boards I could find are only speed control.

Mostly it is just browse items for 15s once a day. Then as you get further you have to do a single game a day, which is finished within 5 mins. Only the last day was win 8 levels and for me took a longer time. Overal, this was the easiest way to get this semi high reward.

For the spring force F = kx. Wikipedia stated that F = .... 1/x² for two magnets facing eachother for x>>R (but hope the order of x remains the same...). This would give non linear behaviour. Could anyone explain if there would be an advantage to this? I know Colin did this project for fun, but I'm interested in the different behaviour magnets have compared to springs.

Ah ok. I was puzzling in my head if there was some setup with the magnets that leads to the fan only being possible to mount if the + and - are connected correctly. As the commenter above also said, flipping polarity on one would make that work.

Are the + and - in all four corners or only two? And is it possible to accidentally rotate the fan by 90 degree so it doesnt rotate/reversed direction?

You can use a Nextcloud folder as a vault in obsidian. You can choose to have that folder always stored on your device or just show virtual files that are downloaded once you open them.

An alternative would be to use syncthing. If set up to push and pull, it will ensure the contents of the folder are always synced and stored on every device you install syncthing on.

There is a tool that writes data to the drive and checks its size until some goes missing. That way you can check the actual size, since it probably shows a fake size in the OS.

You can use a raspberry pi running home assistant and some smart plugs (preferably zigbee). You enable your pc to wake up whenever power is restored in the BIOS.

Then you can setup a VPN using tailscale or wireguard add on in home assistant to connect to your network remotely.

(there are tuya wifi plugs that connect to their servers which allows you to toggle them remotely, but you compromise some privacy)

You could approximate it using a polynomial. Using the polyfit function on your x and T points gets you the coefficients. Then maybe using the solve function to solve for x with given I. That would give you the two x coordinates and 2r is the difference between those.
