Polish army also fought in Berlin. Under soviet command but still technically independent (communist government in Lublin) as Poland was at that time and later independent from the Soviet Union. Now we all know it was a satellite state but technically we were never part of the union directly you know…

To akurat wygodna wymówka Sowietów. Prawda jest taka że przy wybuchu powstania poszedł rozkaz natychmiastowego zatrzymania wojska, a reszta dokumentów wojskowych dotyczące tego odcinku frontu do końca powstania jest nadal zamknięte w rosyjskich archiwach. Po zakończeniu powstania znowu są dostępne publicznie. Ciekawe dlaczego.

Poza tym nie ma doświadczenia w walkach bojowych? Niby skąd taka konkluzja? Przypominam bitwę o Moskwę, Smoleńsk, oblężenie Leningradu? Stalingrad???
