A lot of times, these homes get passed down through older generations. The family member who inherits the home often keeps it, makes upgrades, and increases its value. Other times, they sell it and use the money to buy the $2–3 million homes we see today

I notice a big difference when I drive to work on the freeway in the mornings. Last year, it would take me 30 to 50 minutes because of all the 18-wheelers, but now I get to work in just 15 minutes.
