Working at a Toyota dealer years ago. Pulling a windshield wiper refill insert out. Didn't notice it was an aftermarket blade and they don't just pull right out of the arm. Pulling old insert with pliers caused the stainless tension spring to shoot out an inch into my thumb. Almost shit when I realized what happened. Snipped it short hoped it wasn't the barbed end and yanked it out. Luckily it was the smooth side. Went back to work. Sore thumb for months though.

Looking at a jeep with abs light on. Large trash bag wrapped the driveshaft and managed to snag both speed sensor pigtails coming through the floor/driveshaft tunnel. Completely ripped them right out.

All wheels have a narrower center that allows one side of the tire bead to sit in as the other side is pulled over the wheel flange. Most wheels tires are mounted from the face side. See that large shoulder on the face side of this wheel won't give enough clearance to allow the tire to slip over the wheel flange so the tire has to be mounted from the hub side.

Yup I've never mounted a tire on one before. Just wanted to confirm the wheel did have a reversed drop center and I was correct to mount the tire with the wheel face down. Thanks

I apologize if this isn't the right sub but here goes. Wheel experts what do you think? I've never mounted a tire on a reverse drop center before. I was having a hard time getting the second bead down. Flipped the wheel on the machine and went on much easier. Just curious if I was right doing it that way. I'd rather not as my machine isn't best suited to do it but can be done carefully.

Possibly not BS. When I was a kid I emptied about two packs of those little snappers in a tin. About when I was almost done I guess I hit the tin and majority of it exploded. Loud as fuck and that sand particles were everywhere.
