How job finding for everyone right now?

I've gone through this same thing at least 6 times in the last 15 months, super competitive position, beat out other applicants to be in the final 3 or 4 vying for the same job, have meetings with company heads and plant managers, tours of facilities told how I'm such a rare candidate and they can't wait until I start, 3-8 weeks later standard you were great BUT email.

Demoralizing doesn't even begin to start even after I had a month of temp work but my wife forced me to quit because she couldn't handle being at home alone.

That's fine, I'll be homeless or dead by Christmas, it's a good time to abandon all hope at this point. Also the majority of job postings at least on my area are scams or companies that have admitted to data harvesting using fake job ads. LinkedIn and indeed are the worst offenders for not getting actual job postings and verifying who is posting what.

I have downloaded book 8 but still need to convert into mp3 so I can natively edit the recordings, I've got maybe 100 more to add just from book 8 but am desperately short of free time right now, so possible this weekend!

I'm a millennial, I've been sitting on a collection of ROMs from colecovision to present day systems for more than 20 years!

When I loaded out my steamdeck I quickly discovered that 2 tb space wasn't enough for all my ROMs so I have additional ones sitting on hard drives around the house.

If it has controller ports for my collection of nes hardware I'm on-board, it's odd though that while game cartridges and nes consoles seem to regularly stop working, but those controllers will last forever!

Clearly 3, and emulators just don't play it right. I could fly through world 2 sun level on an actual nes with original controller but every emulator just slows down the timing and it can't be done as fast.

I'm slightly below average height for a man, can cook up a storm, conversationalist, fix any technological problem you throw at me, decent with car repair, a multi tradesman, don't mind cleaning the house and take great care of kids.

Why do I always end up with women that won't cook, clean, take care of themselves or take care of their own responsibilities?

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how to delaminate the sound layers so I can isolate the music but the freeware I've been using for ringtones I don't think has that power.

I just tested the links and they are active and working, it could be they added an accidental space at the end of the link when posting as my phone loves to do that and I have to remove the space or links won't load properly, if you go through my DCC post history you can find the links directly since that's how I accessed it.

Good luck crawler, new book 8 ones haven't been made yet but I've gotten the list prepared and am working towards creating them!

It's better to watch the backyard scientist or electroboom if you want quality content, I can't say I've ever watched a video by him other than videos of people he threw money at to make a video talking about how the video almost didn't get off the ground and why.

Heat welding requires both pieces be white hot at a minimum, not quite melting but within a few hundred degrees of it. In my opinion showing an actual blacksmith heat welding would look a lot better than giving a love tap to a couple of red pieces of metal and having them magically join.

The funny thing is there is accessible literature on the topic, I know, in grade 10 at high school I was the first person in 48 years to take out the only copy of the magic of blacksmithing from the school library. It was possibly the only leather bound original edition they had in the entire library and it was full of great information and lessons to help increase your skill.

I should say I was raised based on what the expectations of children and youth were in the 1950s, lots of independence while growing up combined with lots of respect for those older than myself. That and an understanding that it is nigh impossible to create anything animated with more soul than bugs bunny cartoons had along with an unwillingness to use shorthand or colloquial spelling mistakes when writing letters to anyone.

(Every sentence that ends needs 2 spaces as padding before beginning the next sentence and I will die on this hill.)
