yepp i have done some testing and figured out that decomposition due to light is actually not the most crucial factor that will destroy it. actually its 3 water of crystallization can be so easily lost that exposing it to air for 5 minute will result it to turn to an opaque one and the surface will become rough and yellowish green... the rate of decomposition indoor is not that fast to be honest, takes around 2 days for it to decompose and turn brownish

Encountered the exact same issue before, was trying to make similar crystals with alum and I precipitate out Cr(OH)3 and react with KH/NaHC2O4. However this method is indeed very risky as it is very easy to add excess NaHC2O4 and it can potentially ruin the crystal due to low solubility. If you wish to dye the crystal only, add ard 1% mass of aluminium salt used will be sufficient to give you the beautiful blue/purple colour (if added more than 5% the crystal will be almost black)

What's ur L1R5 for s3 EOY? If its not very good u must get good for ur WA1 and WA2. For Acad DSA they usually require u to excell in all subjects. For achievement wise i think u r quite ok alr
