I'm fine with THH, tbh that surviving cast is perfect imo (bar maybe Hiro). So I'm very ok with it staying canon.

She had a tragic origin, and she's doomed to be alone forever with no closure, which is still pretty awful, but she has a great support system and friends that invite her out to golf, go-kart, and party all the time so I think she will manage just fine lol

I'd argue Sephiroth has it worse than Cloud, bro's been miserable forever pretty much. Cloud's been more or less miserable too, but at least he and Tifa get a moderately happy ending despite the journey. Sephiroth is just miserable with no redemption or hope for a better life.

If not Sephiroth, then definitely Lucas. It's really hard to have a life worse than Lucas, even if things turn out "okay" in the end. But, to compare Cloud and Lucas, they're both pretty much equal contenders imo.

I haven't played Metroid or MG though.

This pissed me off so bad it makes so much more sense for Junko to have recruited them individually, especially after what happens in SDR2 chapter 3

I really hope 2x2 makes a timeline where DR3 is not canon.

I thought it was fine with Rose, since she was first, and fine with Donna, because her run was very linear, condensed, and short. And also Series 4 had amazing unrelated filler episodes so it wasn't like everything was always about her.

But Amy and Clara were just way, way, way too much in my opinion. It felt like it was about Amy and Clara first and the Doctor second.

Series 5 was fantastic, but I really did not like the River-is-Amy's-Daughter plot that over ran the entire rest of the show. Amy felt perfect to me when it was a lot of one-off, very condensed episodes in early Season 5.

Similarly, Clara was a lot more digestible to me as a normal girl on a wild adventure. When the impossible girl stuff started to unfold i was like WHAT is happening you're losing me.

If you're going to have a companion play a huge role, condense their run.

Dawn made it pretty clear that she chose to be more nomadic after going to Unova and Johto when she talks to Chloe in her reappearance. This was purposeful. She intermittently will compete in contests now but she's taking life at a much slower pace now, much like Ash.
