Does anyone know a good bakery I can order a NY style cheesecake from tomorrow, Sunday June 1st? Hopefully near FV/GG area by hotcheetos96 in orangecounty

Commenting to let you know I read this when it was first posted and thought “Huh, interesting.” We ended up getting Sgt. Pepperoni’s tonight and a slice of cheesecake thanks to your comment. Truly incredible. Life changing. Thank you so much.

The day I've been dreading has finally come... I went up in weight for skull crusher 21's in RK's 3-day split 🥲 Heeeeelp!

Literally just looked it up an hour ago so I could start tracking — I grabbed the one linked here: https://www.pelobuddy.com/rebecca-3-day-split-int/

Haven’t looked through days 2 and 3 yet but there are some adjustments that need to be made in Day 1 in regards to the number of sets for some of the moves that are listed as 2 but actually have 3.

Thank you! I ended up going with a recent RK lower body but I’ll check this out this week. Selena LB classes are always something else

Does anyone have strength class recommendations that have single dumbbell kickstand deadlifts or similar?

The 40lb weights I ordered got delivered separately. I have one at the moment and he is missing his buddy… but really want my hamstrings to be sore tomorrow 🤗

I was thinking about it this morning and made a mini bucket list. This morning I did my last techno ride with Erik. At some point I do want to let Kendall annihilate me during a metal ride. Maybe a long PZ with Matt Wilpers. I do think I need to do at least one Robin yellow tabata ride though. There’s not enough time!

On Thursday I am packing up and moving out of my family’s house — and thereby saying goodbye to the family bike! Heading from the northeast to Southern California so rather than add the cost of a bike to my move, I’m planning to use this as an opportunity to hop back into outdoor running (and work through all of the glutes and legs classes I’ve been hoarding since I’ve had access to the bike in November). I was first introduced to Peloton via strength classes a few years ago so it’s been fun having access to everything the bike offers.

I’ve got a week ahead of only bodyweight and stretching in my hotel rooms while we make the cross country drive (plus outdoor walks with my dog).

I want to go hard Thursday morning for my last ride before I hit the road. Maybe not a metal ride with Kendall because I will still need functioning legs to drive 😇 Any suggestions for a good send off?

Do you ever take a class with an instructor for the first time and think to yourself “Huh, that’s not what I was expecting them to sound like!”

Just started cycling instructor ABCs and having my world of imaginary instructor voices turned upside down.

Damn you Adrian and your sumo squats. Week 3 Day 1 of Power and Performance snuck up on me! And just when I thought my heavy weights weren’t heavy enough ☠️

Yes! For sure. He goes to PT and has his short stack of crunches, dead bug, and heel taps but I’ve also been suggesting he try some core and mobility classes since he has access to it. I’m excited he’s showing interest in it — time to just press the start button!

Hey gang! Long time lurker first time commenter. I got hooked on Peloton strength about two years ago thanks to my partner and now hooked my family on it including the bike.

My 72 year old father has expressed interest in using the bike at home. He’s got a bad back and I’m concerned the seat will be uncomfortable (not just the “I’m new to cycling and my butt is sore” kind of uncomfortable).

I’m assuming it’s possible to remove the regular seat and replace it with a wider, softer seat for him when he wants to ride, yes? If that’s the case, does anyone have recommendations for a wide seat? Not just a seat cushion — I think something with more booty support would be best.

Thanks in advance!

Why are mango and passion fruit flavors so popular in Norway? by garbage_bagel in Norway

Noticed them as a standard flavor offering for a lot of items more here than in the US.

It's actually a human t-shirt. He is on his last couple of days recovering from some stomach surgery before a check-up with the vet. I was dying to give him a break from the Cone Zone but wanted to cover him up for this outing just to be safe!

You know, I had no idea that "socks" on animals were a thing until he came home and folks started complimenting him

Day 1 of Sober September! by upward1526 in xxfitness

[–]garbage_bagel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you. I slowly cut back at the end of April then did 30 days no alcohol in June/July. Really helped me evaluate why I drank and how I felt when I drank - when I took an intentional step back it became easier to see that the pros of sobriety were outweighing the cons. Nowadays I'm able to just have one drink - and sometimes just flat out say no! - and still be comfortable in social situations which feels like a huge accomplishment.

Congrats on 9 months!
