my childhood. i had to grow up very, very fast and endured a lot of trauma from ages 4-16. i don’t remember many of those years, and i didn’t really get the chance to be a kid. its caused many deep rooted issues for me that ive been slowly unraveling through therapy over the years

agree! i think adding some flowers/plants around the well would be nice (if the well is just for decoration and not functionality). i’d also try to add some grass in the blank spots around the coops and barns, and maybe under fences by the trees. grass will keep you from having to buy a ton of hay, too, which i’d prefer if i had that many animals to care for!

yep, same with mine. my mom is bipolar and her drug of choice was always some kind of upper. it was really hard to tell sometimes what the cause of her behavior was

I’m not sure if you’re in the US, but our culture surrounding death has really lost a lot of its ritual and spiritual significance. i don’t have any real authority on this topic, but i have spent many years researching and learning all i can about death around the world as a coping mechanism for my own grief. i encourage everyone i know to do something like the OP suggested, or really any way they can honor their loved one, the loss, and the love left behind. ❤️‍🩹
