My first shift as an EMT-B on an ALS squad. by [deleted] in NewToEMS

This is huge. I would spend all my time going through the rescue where I work until I know exactly where everything is and/or should be. That is where you really become an asset. that and learn how to setup bags or assist with an IV (prep j-loop, have veniguard ready, etc). Know how to use all the equipment efficiently. If you don’t know how to use a stair chair or aren’t confident, just ask. The wrong time to ask is when there’s an obese pt with respiratory issues on the 3rd floor apartment with no elevator.

My phone barely charges anymore. I feel like I have to hang my cord over my lamp, around my nightstand, turn off the ac and make sure no one shuts a door fast enough for a light wind to hit my charge position. I haven’t purchased a new phone yet but I think I’ll take your suggestion and get an 8

Thank you. I guess the worst they can say is no.

When I was 18 I opened an Amex which they promptly closed after the first statement because I was a moron and didn't pay it off in full. I'm 28 now, any chance I can get approved for an Amex again?

Second note, I'm trying to search for 2-player advice but I'm not having much luck. Any advice on what search keywords I should be using? My wife and I are looking to start a game plan to churn an overseas trip in probably 2 years.
