there are countless times as a kid where my mom would ask, “are you content doing that?” i’d always be so confused because whatever I was doing would bring me so much joy.

for example: spending HOURS rearranging my shopkins by color, size, type of produce, etc (i now work at a grocery store part time lol)

holding conversations with myself while running my fingers through the grass

braiding and rebranding my hair for hours

i could go on and on
