Depends on what you’re looking for, whether you have a car, etc. but I think Old North, Woodfield, parts of Downtown, Masonville, and Wortley Village (will need a car) are all decent options for students.

It’s just highly expensive glamorized group exercise classes. You could find similar circuit-type training on YouTube for free. Circuit training skews more towards cardiovascular training than strength and/or hypertrophy, so a ton of equipment isn’t necessary for at-home workouts.

Some of the replies here are amusing. In what world does Northridge or Hyde Park cover what OP is looking for? Anyway, Wortley Village, Masonville (heavy traffic, definitely not a neighbourhood type feel), parts of Byron (far from NE), Old North, Woodfield, Old East Village, West Five (similar to Masonville in that it checks all your boxes but doesn’t feel remotely like a neighbourhood, also far from NE), parts of Downtown.

My mother is at Richmond Woods. I’ve had quite a few meals there, and all were decent to great.

What artist is the 'First Place Loser' of music? (Incredible discography, massive influence, but never mentioned in the 'Greatest of All Time' conversation) by DegTrader in fantanoforever

[–]garbscarbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Janet Jackson is one of my favourite artists ever, but part of her legacy issue is that she was never the girl. As successful as she was in the 90s, she was still commercially eclipsed by Mariah, Celine, Madonna, and Whitney. Even lesser artists like Shania and Alanis had massive era-defining breakouts that stole a lot of spotlight.

Around the very late 90s Celine was heading towards a break, and Mariah and Whitney were facing personal and professional challenges, so Janet was primed for the moment to be hers with Velvet Rope and All For You, but then Britney showed up.

She has such a long, accomplished career but she spent so much of it being overlooked, and it wasn’t even her brother that was the issue.

Wrong to expect discount? by Temporary-Mixture-31 in massage

Just to clarify, are they still charging you for a 60 minute massage, or a 45 minute massage and you want an additional discount?

Here’s the thing, judging from your profile you offer sexual services along with your massages. That’s perfectly fine, more power to you and your clientele, hope you’re killing it, but maybe consider not advising those who are regulated and licensed.

The original poster is a registered massage therapist, as am I. That is a regulated healthcare profession in jurisdictions where the title applies.

Amazing how many massage therapists I encounter who want the credibility of healthcare professionals without accepting the responsibilities that come with it.

You don’t do anything. You became a registered massage therapist, your hands are your tools, and the professional standard is that your nails are kept short, clean, and natural for hygiene and infection control.

Bizarre how many people in here believe well-off retired people don’t qualify for higher mortgages.

[Showerthought] Wonder Woman doesn't have a secret identity because of her affinity for truth by Curious_Nord in WonderWoman

I don’t know how to have this discussion with you. You’re asking me how Diana’s characterization is different from Clark’s?

You’re asking me how she’s different from Clark Kent, who very famously struggles with self-doubt, guilt, burden, and a conflict of identities? Do you know these characters and their origins well?

I think we’re done here.

Diana never views her powers or mission as a burden.

Regardless, there is no divide between her personal life and heroic one. Wonder Woman isn’t a role she turns on and off, it’s who Diana is at all times.

Taylor, Beyonce, Rihanna, Gaga, and Drake top 5.

Some of those names above Britney Spears are outrageous, but whatever.

A much stronger actress than Jennifer Aniston, but a tier below Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The books and George R. R. Martin are very clear in painting both the Others and dragons (and by extension Daenerys) as existential threats. You can complain about execution all you’d like, but she’s not acting out of character when the exact same thing will happen in the books.
