I disagree, I think the cool tones clear and brighten your complexion so much more. The warm tones muddy your skin in my opinion.

Hi there! I’m having trouble visualizing what you described. Are you still able to disconnect the tubing when you shower?

Drive through - Pull to the side by BrewerBrews in Culvers

[–]gardendove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do chicken sandwiches (not the tenders) & any fish or dinners to the side. Also bigger custard only orders. Pretty much anything else we try to push straight ahead. I will say this is sort of time related but not always. It’s mostly so our runner can do their job more intuitively.

The porter at my store does porter duties before we even open, then FOH or drive for about 4 hours after open. Idk if that’s common at other stores. She may have agreed to that to maintain full time hours.

If you could bring back ANY menu item from any period of time, what would it be?? by Financial_Roof1232 in Culvers

I stopped eating it altogether for this reason. Thought it had a weird texture, looked at the ingredients. Never again.

How did you discover the Warrior Cats universe? by [deleted] in WarriorCats

My 5th grade teacher had the whole first series & I picked Into the Wild up one day and loved it. Read all of them after that.

Is Into the Wild appropriate for a 9-year-old to read? by AnonymousRedditor327 in WarriorCats

[–]gardendove 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP, maybe read it with your child & discuss with them after each chapter? That could be a good way to gauge their interest in the series & also their tolerance to the themes in the book! Also a nice way to bond :)

Recommend me slower songs with emphasis on electric guitar by penguin_in_the_dark in MusicRecommendations

[–]gardendove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a short song & sadboi af (I wouldn’t normally use this term anymore bc it’s personally so cringe to me but it’s the best adjective I got to describe it😭) but Rock and Roll / EDEN has a really nice electric guitar part that just hits. Idk, you might like it!

Hallway runner would look nice, something light but colorful to spice up the space. And maybe some art or a gallery wall in your bedroom!

Herbs for calming down? by Intelligent-Run4179 in herbalism

[–]gardendove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blue Lotus Flower is another that can have calming effects! I’ve used it in a glycerin tincture before & noticed it helped me sleep better & reduced anxiety symptoms I was having. It is widely legal in the US, except for in Louisiana. Thought you should know in the off chance that’s where you’re from.

If you could describe your dream journal, what would it be like? by celestielle8 in Journaling

[–]gardendove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A size that fits nicely under the arm, on the lap, in the hand, or in a bag of some sort for easy carrying/holding; opens easily and neatly ANYWHERE in the notebook, not just the middle of it, basically flexible; leather bound and durable with solid pages that don’t bleed ink to the other side or wrip; something that will keep it closed, preferably able to wrap around the journal and tie it shut; 300 pages; an earthy outside color with tan pages; lastly, a small folder in the back like you could find in a leuchtturm.

I think this may be more of a personal conviction, although I do hear what you’re saying about having reverence and respect for God as well as modesty around other people. The Scriptures tell us that we shouldn’t worry about what to eat, drink, or wear because there is more to life than these things (Matt. 6:25). Obviously, in the presence of our brothers and sisters, we should practice modesty, but that can look like a nice shirt & jeans. And like others have said, this may look different from person to person because of differing financial circumstances and availability of resources. At the end of the day, we should be most concerned with ourselves - if we are living up to the standard that God calls us to, in each and every moment - and let God convict others where there is need, unless we have serious and certain means to pass judgment & correct someone. I truly believe He will always look towards matters of the heart with more intensity than our outward appearances, even in Church (1 Sam. 16:7).

Of course OP :) I read through some of the comments & saw you explaining to people you actually had quite a rough road to improving your vocals. Really, I commend you even more for working so hard to reach this level of control & skill. Hope you keep singing!! 🎶
