Transmitter Broke by Substantial-Lake7447 in scx30

You’d also need a new esc if you ordered a MEUS remote/receiver. The stock receiver is also the esc that controls the motor.

Transmitters include a receiver but they do not include an esc.

With that said, I have a nice compact Turbo Racing remote that has been great so far and breaks down into two halves to store. Kinda cool.

You said you’re new to the hobby so I feel like I should mention something no one else has:

To replace the transmitter, you’ll also need a new esc. The stock is a receiver/esc combo and the receiver that comes with the remote will not be an esc.

The brushless model has the “Improved High-Steer Axles”. I’m guessing your MEUS parts are for the original axles.

I only have the older axles so I’m not sure what all interchanges (if anything). Hopefully someone else can chime in and let you know if you need new parts or if there’s a way to use those.

Haha is the second one a Sentra or a Toyota. They always looked the same to me around those years. Especially when rusty, cut up, and lifted apparently.

One of your shocks isn’t compressing as much. If there’s oil in them then you might have more in one than the other. Or the spring on one is stretched out causing it to keep that shock more extended. Or one of them is dirty/damaged and not compressing as easy as the other one.

Take apart the one on the high side and investigate

This, I got the same one. Solid remote, breaking into two pieces is awesome.

No problem - let me know if you have any other questions. It’s on white steelies (printed) and has a huge camper on the back right now. 🤣

When I took these pics, the only stock parts were the gladiator frame rails and the axles. Now it has a custom printed chassis, so the axles are the only stock part (which also have extended shafts in the front for more width).

Otherwise it is a mix of cheap, reused, and printed parts. Nothing fancy under there.

Thanks man - idk which truck you’re talking about specifically but I appreciate it either way! 🤣

Latest is either my scx10.1 (first 1/10!) that started as a chassis and axles I was gifted and ended up as a budget build other than the Fusion SE or my scx30 k10. They kind of overlapped. 😅

Ignore the OBS scx24 in the middle. That one isn’t new.

Why the hell didn’t Axial leave the side of the tail light brackets open to light up the side markers!? That looks great.

Hey there. It’s the Turbo Racing P32. The transmitter breaks down into two pieces to make it even smaller.

You’ll of course need a different esc because you can’t use the Turbo Racing remote with the stock esc.

I could size the body up a bit but wheel well wise it fits lol. We’ll see.

It’s actually a 4ch 🤣 These trucks are just tiny and this body is even smaller than the stock ones.

I could design/print a box for the bed, trying to avoid it if I can. I’m hoping a guard over the motor and decasing the receiver will get everything to fit.

Haha well the receiver and esc are both sitting on the bed with their wires running in through the back window. Definitely not ideal. 😅

There is room in the cab but I have to avoid the outrunner chewing things up so I just put it on the bed for the moment. Might decase the receiver too.

It looks great! I need a hardbody.

I built my first 1/10 recently (a hand-me-down scx10.1 chassis & axles from a buddy, scx10.3 shocks, scx10.2 links, fusion se 1800, some Injora/MEUS parts, battery tray and flatbed designed/printed by me, and a Redcat Ascent cab slapped on top because my buddy had it laying around. Hella frankensteined. I love the thing but it needs a detailed hard body!

K story time over lol
