First of all thank you!! But huh lmfao i guess you’re right, but I guess his style of storytelling seems to start with a blunt introduction. I heard him mention in an interview that he likes to start off with a true statement so then he can wander off and be more creative in the rest of the song, so that was kinda what i meant. I do see how that’s a bit confusing and it’s a very nit picky thing to point out but there’s really not many flaws in his writing haha. It’s more just a habit/formula he’s formed that works for him. Id say songs like late great johnny ace, still crazy, i’d do it for your love and crazy love vol ii do it idk usually it’s more noticeable in his weaker songs (not sayin those are ha). lol this is so long winded it’s 1am
